Ikr it just shows even if they go to time, it takes a lot of skill to survive. Like the will affect you mentally and it’s hard to keep ur composure at such high percentages

This was impressive. I've never been able to keep sonic's spindash in check like that
I think what make this matchup slightly hard for Megaman is that Sonic and Steve are characters that have such unorthodox movements, that its hard for him to optimally punish them.

Behold! The least interactive matchup possible: Both of them win by not playing, tbh the irony is too funny not to appreciate. They both just get a taste of their own medicine and the only mental game they are playing is on themselves. And on you if you decided to watch this

Usually feel very bad for timed out players, but if you play megaman you kinda deserve it.
At the very least with Mega Man, they have to go in for the kill every now and then. With Sonic, it’s just running away and rarely approach. That’s much less fun than zoner gameplay.
Nah megaman still has to work. He can’t camp nearly as hard as sonic or even other zoners
Mega Man has to go in more often and work a bit harder than other zoners since he's only decent at mid range, his projectiles don't have as much priority like the belmonts or villager, and its especially difficult to find any meaningful strings and kill setups against sonic when he's constantly trying to find a way to roll into you and combo you to death with little to no sweat or effort. But sonic has to do that since mega man's pellets stop sonic in his tracks after spindash intangibility frames run out.
not really. mega man is a mid-range zoner/bait and punish character, and he can really struggle to deal with getting camped out
Sonix does nothing for eSports. What a waste.
