- The 8th-ranked Hurricanes pulled off a miraculous fourth-quarter comeback against the Golden Bears to win, 39-38. The Hurricanes trailed 35-10 with 18 minutes left in the game, and Cam Ward connected with Elijah Arroyo on a 5-yard touchdown with 26 seconds left in the game for the game-winning score. Miami outgained Cal 278-26 in the fourth quarter and outscored the Bears 21-3 in the final quarter. Cam Ward was 35-53 passing the ball for 437 yards and two passing touchdowns, with a 24-yard rushing touchdown as well. Miami wide receiver Xavier Restrepo caught 7 passes for 163 yards, including a 77-yard reception on Miami's final drive. For Cal, quarterback Fernando Mendoza was 11-22 for 285 yards and two touchdowns. Running back Jaydn Ott had 77 all-purpose yards and two total touchdowns.

The Hurricanes have historically played their best when the entire program accepted and relished in the us against the world mentality. I'm proud to say Mario has improved the talent level and we are close to where we need to be. But even if this years team lacks a little talent and depth in the secondary, our offense gives us a chance against anybody. Let's fucking go CANES!

The Miami QB has to correct turnovers and the DBs have to make adjustments to get stops as well as making plays to get turnovers over the bye week.
This was the toughest Defense Cam had to play against. Keep in mind Cal leads the ncaa in interceptions, but overall Cam played/plays good ball 💯 threw over 400 yds only 3 ints all season?
