I have the same i-Pilot in video. When inserting batteries it turns on and may function briefly controlling the motor then report “RF error” and shuts down. I restart it again same issue then it locks up in the start up screen and won’t shut off with out removing batteries. I dissembled it and I cannot see any corrosion. If you still repair these I could send it to you for a look-see, maybe repair, maybe for parts.
i have the same remote! I was on a charter yesterday and the screen went blank! Remote still works but nothing on the screen except pepper looking spots! Any idea why and or how to repair this?
My speed down button doesn't work. Clicks but can't lower speed. Took apart, very little corrosion, cleaned up and still don't work. Tried ipilot app on phone and works fine to lower speed, so narrowed down to remote. Any ideas?
I have an I pilot link controller it will only stay on if I hold the power button down. As soon as I let off, it shuts down. This sounds like something you can fix? I'll mail it to you. I'm located in Texas.

What type of drive are the screws that hold the back on? I tried all the standard allen wrenches I have and they don’t fit.
I think torx screws
