Nice practice session 👍🏾👍🏾 practice makes perfect my friend keep up the good work out there.
Hey Thanks bro!! Likewise, I saw your video and said I need to practice more. Got to get them figure 8's down pat.😁👍🏿
Good practice... your throttle and clutch control is on point. I just took a course with these maneuvers. Practice... practice.... and practice again
Thanks Rod!! I appreciate that. I will continue to practice. Been watching alot of Robert Simmons and Jerry!!👍🏿
@@TD205 yes sir I watch them too. Once you get over you fear of dropping the bike and get use to using your eyes... it becomes a bit easier and 2nd nature.
@@rodericksaunders5887 For sure!!👍🏿
@@rodericksaunders5887 I had a 900 Vulcan I used to practice a lot and scrap floorboards all the time. Very good at slow speeds. Same concept, that bike was 600 pounds. Now I'm just adjusting to the Vaquero weight 300 pound difference.😁
Looking good!💯
Thank you!!💯 I'm trying😁. Preload and keep it loaded.!!👍🏿😄
I’m trying to find one of these to test ride here in the UK. I think they’re called Voyager custom over here. Lovely bike 😍
Thank you! Yes, there's 2 versus; the Vaquero and Voyager. I love it.❤
Good job
What rpms do you usually stay at when practicing u turns ?
Thanks for watching👌🏿!! Around 2K mostly👍🏿.
Thanks for sharing. It is great to see these maneuvers on a big Kawasaki. I ride a Vulcan 1600-my second one so I really like the big Vulcans. In the vast amount of practice videos on YT, one might only see 1 or 2 of our bikes. I enjoy practicing, but my large front tire sends my brain messages that it doesn’t want to lean too much (smile). Your pipes sound amazing-best I’ve ever heard on a Vaquero. And you have an awesome looking bike. Turning from a stop is raising more questions: Should I turn my wheel prior to starting the turn or turn the wheel as I’m making the turn? For years, I never really thought about it and just turned. What are your thoughts? Be well...ride safe.
Thanks!! I really appreciate that. Yes, I love my Vulcan Vaquero 1700, coming from a 900 it seem like the right move. I know, you rarely seems Vaqueros out there. I love mines, these Vulcan line are very undervalued and under rated. As far as turning from a complete stop, I turn my wheel once the bike moves. If it's a sharp sharp turn then yes, turn the wheel first and ease off the clutch. The pipes are Vance and Hines👍🏿. Thanks again!! Be safe out there!!🤜🏿🏍️🤛🏿
@@TD205 Thanks for the response. And that’s usually how I make my turns. Ride safe.
@@powerforward1955 Anything. That's awesome!!👍🏿
That's a sweet looking bike
Thanks again!!!💯👍🏿
