Keep in there, ladies. Hiphop and metal have traditionally been two of the hardest genres for women to get into (unless you're a metal singer) and be taken seriously. It's changing and getting better every year, for sure. Glad that your experiences seem to be positive, too :D

7:48 holy, this audio switch from room acoustics to direct audio makes it a completely different beat, i somehow prefer it with the room reverb.. or at least the percs, they're longer and fuller, sounds much better, woah

I feel the same way honestly, I'd just say start making the melody in piano and then change the sound when you've made the pattern and try find a sound that fits the melody
