Sehr gut gemacht !!!
What happened to the double stripe on the top of the tank? I also wonder why some W800 Steets have orange lensed indicated lights and others have smaller clear lenses? Is it a matter of which are allowed in a country as apposed to other countries, or is it a change midway through the 2019 model year?
Located to the right on the sidebar after clicking "show more", is the video by Motovore, with the heading, *First look: Kawasaki W800.* . This, in my honest opinion, is way better looking than the above 2019 model featured here and would hope that they haven't discontinued this variant. Sadly I suspect they have, as I cannot find a 2019 model that follows that style. Yes of course, it's all a matter of taste and as they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but from the simple perspective of cleaning, the matt/black colours are a lot harder to clean and keep clean compared to chrome and full gloss paint. To their credit at least they've retained full chrome pipes and mufflers. Like I say though, my opinion and possibly that of a thousand others, so it really boils down to a case of to each his own. Happy trails, ride safe...
The satin black accentuates the chrome parts nicely. For 2020 Kawasaki is offering the W800 of 2019 and a version that is what you are describing. Personally, I like the one featured in this video. A most handsome bike. For cleaning, there are many easy spray-on sealers and cleaners. I will say that this bike looks better in person.
Lovely bike, but pause the clip at :59. Why the incredibly large and exaggerated tank seam? This color scheme is wonderful, but it also accentuates the ugly seam....
I like the Cafe version better. That tank looks bad with the big W on it. The bars on the 800W cafe are just a bit too low for me, but the bars on the street version look like they have a little too much rise. They need a third option.
Kawasaki has now brought a third model W800 with mid rise handle bars and more chrome and shiny paint. I'm buying the satin finished W800 Street. It's a very handsome bike. What chrome there is is accentuated with the satin finish and black. I like their choice of which parts they have chromed, along with the stainless steel spokes and alloy rims.
they fukked this bike up in my opinion, ive seen the 2017 version and it was gorgeous....and they even have that cafe version now too which is worse.....
