Kudos for them for their effort in making things as easier as possible and not limiting into open-source only utilities. Just make things work! 👏👏 If it keeps innovating, they will have a bright future in their way. I've tested tons and tons of distros and some of their features I haven't seen in any of them, they are indeed far ahead... Can't say more, neat stuff.
Its an Arch version of ZorinOS that basically does the same thing - making Windows and MacOS uses coming to Linux feel at home. The feature set appeals to both newbies and power users. You’ll find a configuration snd workflow that suits you. More original than the other Brazilian distro, Wubuntu.
I am really not into their theme, especially icon theme cuz it looks kinda skeuomorphic instead of flatty and modern. Some features also look out of place and due to their way of present things - this might be seen as a bloated distribution. I also did not enjoy either their approach on privacy-unaware WebApps. I think the dev just thrown everything they consider "userful", but might not be for everyone, seems too much stuff. A better approach would be giving the user the option to choose from what they want or not as a WebApp. The distro is good but it needs polishing, for example, the driver manager part I recommend they give the user a way to autodetect what driver the user might be missing, maybe through some command that autodetects and shows graphically what should be installed (in case of issues). Yet I like what I’ve seen - mostly. Very different from majority distros we know of. Let’s be honest, right?
Ok, I just downloaded the latest version and I do see a few thing in here that I like. I think they might be headed in the right direction but I still don't like that it comes with like 70 web apps.
I primarily stick to main established - distributions with some verifiable history and reliability. Virtual Machines are fun.... but bare metal - not likely.

Portuguese is the language. Next time you review a Distro, download to bare metal and use it for a couple of days, so at least you will know and present the Distro in a knowledgeable way.
I think most of the countries think Brazil speaks Spanish due to the fact 99% of the closest countries to it do speak Spanish as their primary language. Also, Spanish and Portuguese are quite related to the point both can understand each other without so much hassle or/and effort.
Congrats in outing yourself as an uncultured Anglo. Anyone in the non-Anglo world, which is most of the world, will have heard about, or at the very least learnt at school about the age of discovery spearheaded by Portugal, of which Brazil is a big part of. Its at the inception of the world we have today, hence embarrassing not only to have no clue about it but to randomly assume most others wouldn't as well. Other than that, Brazil is "just" the same size as all its surrounding countries combined, same going for population. Taking that point of yours alone, its like saying most people think the USA speaks Spanish because Cuba and Mexico do. Lastly, Spanish and Portuguese are not mutually intelligible, at least not easily. The exception is European Portuguese being able to understand Spanish fairly well. That's because that specific variant of Portuguese has a higher phonetic complexity than any description of Spanish as well as the other variants of Portuguese. Its relatively easy to go from higher to lower phonetic complexity but not the other way around.
Love the videos. I don’t understand why people would make a fork of a fork for a distro. I understand forking a distro to put your own twist on things but forking a fork is a bit too much.
Probably because Manjaro already had some of the features they wanted, so it's easy-peasy for them to add what they want over it instead of making everything from scratch.
The language is Portuguese. As for the distro I haven't been super impressed, no matter how much ebuzz pushes it. This is very bloated. Manjaro is still better.
Don't really don't see the point of a Manjaro based distro; if you're going to do do a better Arch spin then go ahead and do it but why base it on one thats already as bloated as you could possibly put up with...
@@dragonballjiujitsu I'm a bit of a lazy noob and like ready to eat distros, but I might have to try that since theres no good Arch spins anymore, since Salient XFCE died...

thank you Switched to Linux for the video i was thinking about installing on a laptop so thank dude
Wow, very nice touch on the driver manager! While other distros just offer to install NVIDIA, AMD and Intel, this one put all options...
Yes! It's more than just Manjaro!
Just installed today very impressed using it as my first of choice

You should totally dubstep that.
Notice the minimum system requirements. Runs very fast on my machine.

Big Linux is my favorite distro. I love it.
Installing plasma-wayland-session will set up for Wayland as an option. I agree this has a lot of features and functionality.
Even with NVIDIA drivers installed?!
@@MarkHobbes It will give the wayland option. Not sure how it will work with Nvidia, if at all as I'm on AMD.
the "new" desktop looks like it is windows 10 initial edition of the taskbar.
Tried this out. Interesting nice distro but.. could not ger Davinci work and On same pc Manjaro is snappier och Davinci runs wo problems.

Looking good
According to their website Big Linux should still run on a computer from 2007.
Great distribution
Nice distro
Runs android apps too.
Wonder what kind of telemetry they have or data they collect since they seen to cozy up with bad actors BIG tech
As far as I've seen, nothing. Just added some crap webapps that can be easily removed like unbookmarking a favorite in a browser.
