+Diode Dynamics yes on the 216 civic you have to remove the tail light housing that is being held by two nuts to access the bulbs and then with careful but strong force and pry it off the car to unsnap the clips that holds it to the car.

Hey man, you probably have already gotten it fixed/replaced but what worked best for me is to just use a pair of pliers and just twist it like that.
