They suffer from chiralium poisoning, which affects their minds making them forget who they are and why they do stuff. All that's left is their need to complete an objective, so they try to deliver stuff, since it used to be their job, but because they forget *why* they do that they end up "delivering" items to a random abandoned postbox in the middle of nowhere instead of an actual base. Most of them aren't conscious about what they're doing, thinking they are fulfilling their job.

I can't even imagine what other benefits there are that you can unlock, but my point is, the game does reward you for hard work. Heck maybe the "premium" deliveries that you impose restrictions on your self maybe, just maybe, exponentially speeds up that progress and unlocks who knows what very quickly! I get it, Jack this game us super convoluted and can be crazy taxing trying to keep up with it all. The trick though here is that your gameplay can be uniquely yours, there could be ways to play this game that you may enjoy even more than you do now. That the brilliance to Deaths Stranding, there are so many options to try. For example, you carry around a lot of equipment but don't really use it. Repels and ladders for one, they may not weigh much, but your much heavier delivery items are getting put up much higher than they should be to balance your load. There's a noticeable benefit to keeping cargo in that backpack strap at the base of your ruck frame. You may even not drop anything when getting hit by mules or bts if your cargo was in that backpack strap! Play around with the mechanics! You might be very surprised what you learn. Kojima usually strives very hard for realism on his imitation of real world mechanics, usually to a pretty cool level of detail. Cheers! Love the vids!

He’s right though. The map system in this game is terribly cluttered and I spend as little time on it as I possibly can. It’s confusing and difficult to read even if you don’t have markers all over the place.
Look, this game is hyper in-depth and you are going to have a hard time playing this, because you don't like reading things, because reading slows down the pace of the video. Please take my advice, and just do these few things. Whenever you go to your room shower, urinate, defecate, play with the bb, grab a drink, and grab a nummy bug. These things can add grenades and whatnot. You can pee in the wild. Urinating on a bt will kill it, and I am pretty sure they don't tell you that in game. Outrunning bt's just isn't feasible. Slow down, don't touch them, and you won't even have to worry about it. Always have too many repair sprays. Always spray the packages before turning them in. Read through the emails, they give you likes. Be nice to the other npc porters you see. Be generous with your likes and they will be generous with theirs. Even if you don't plan to 100% the game, doing these things will help you have a better gameplay experience.
You don't need to spray every package before handing them in. The spray is only for the containers. The damage evaluation at the end of the delivery is only for the stuff inside the containers. Spraying won't to anything to the damage of whatever is inside

CCuppy no there is. because the consecutive liking the game was trying to inform him about was of liking multiple structures from the same user within a certain period of time. if i spam likes on your ladder and then come across a generator you put down later- in the same play session for example - I can’t spam likes on that as well as i have already liked something of your construction fairly recently. I cant go around the map to every structure my friend told me they put down and spam 100+ likes on every one of them in a couple hours, because that ruins the whole nature of the “Likes” reward system and the value you’re supposed to feel like youre contributing to the social network of the game. If some guy and their friends just plopped down ten useless ladders in a random spot of useless, easy terrain for maximum liking-eachother efficiency, it would discourage others coming across it from putting the effort into thoughtful constructions that benefit the online community. putting the work into constructing a road is a bit discouraged when you know MinecraftStan1234567 and his friends all have 50k likes on some ladders in a field. It would ruin the sense of value, accomplishment, and community appreciation. TLDR: being thanked a whole lot by the community for a few things you put a lot of work and consideration into =/= Someone with a like/follower bot on all of their instagram posts, uploading garbage and then repping their “likes” and follower numbers for clout.

It is a game where mailman and mail woman are delivering packages to people who need it to slowly put back America together. They defeat ghosts to get them back to heaven and Norman Reedus is trying to bring back his sister from heaven/the Beach so that way she can run for the next presidential election for the UCA.
Well while both worlds are meant to create atmosphere and look beautiful, the world of Shadow of the colossus is not only more full, but more fun to traverse. This game makes it a chore as well as takes a little e too long so you notice it more, where as Shadow of the Colossus you can go at your own pace

Hell there's a huge crater Fragile and Sam had to cross on boat. Like that used to be part of the center of the U.S. but it's just a crater filled with water now. So a lot has happened really to make it that way. And I think this does take place at bar minimum 30 years after the Death Stranding (as Sam is a little boy in some cut scenes with Ameilie, and if Sam is supposed to be around Norman Reedus' age, then well, yeah awhile).

You know, I didn’t think I was going to enjoy this game when I started watching. However, I find myself not able to get enough of Norman Reedus and his amazing Feetus. Side note: If no one has done it already, someone should do fan art of Jack’s Septic eye logo inside the pod that holds the BB.
He really should use the gear more. Either that, or stop carrying like 3 copies of every traversal gear that just take up space and weight, all while complaining about having to much stuff to carry. You don't need 3 ropes you never use, and 3-4 PCCs you also never use other than to build a generator, which you only ever do right outside a connected hub, which can just build you a new PDD on the spot. As is, you have 3 on you that only serve to make it harder to move, take up valuable space that other cargo could use, and degrade every time you go into the rain.

I love how all these places are just a short drive away from each other, and yet Sam is crossing VAST distances as he zig-zags across America. It makes me laugh every time I see the progress on the map.
Imagine a game where it recorded you talking and had the character say automated phases that fit what you said. So you say something like 'this is getting crazy' and sam will say, 'yeah it is' or 'this is beautiful scenery' and he says 'I dont mind the walk' But the game never markets it as doing this so you think you're going crazy. An idea.
Wow, that sounds like an immense amount of development time and money for a feature that is intentionally hidden and therefore won't aid in sales. You do know games are a product that is intended to earn money?

As opposed to something like Fallout 4 or Skyrim where there are so many side quests and whatnot that it becomes even more of a hassle to complete them all or lose track if you spend more than a day away from the game, and frankly Sean kinda bulldozes his way through a lot of this despite how long he takes admiring the scenery.

He’s right though. The map system in this game is terribly cluttered and I spend as little time on it as I possibly can. It’s confusing and difficult to read even if you don’t have markers all over the place.

Look, this game is hyper in-depth and you are going to have a hard time playing this, because you don't like reading things, because reading slows down the pace of the video. Please take my advice, and just do these few things.
Whenever you go to your room shower, urinate, defecate, play with the bb, grab a drink, and grab a nummy bug. These things can add grenades and whatnot. You can pee in the wild. Urinating on a bt will kill it, and I am pretty sure they don't tell you that in game. Outrunning bt's just isn't feasible. Slow down, don't touch them, and you won't even have to worry about it. Always have too many repair sprays. Always spray the packages before turning them in. Read through the emails, they give you likes. Be nice to the other npc porters you see. Be generous with your likes and they will be generous with theirs.
Even if you don't plan to 100% the game, doing these things will help you have a better gameplay experience.
And the interviews! There's nuggets of info in them that he has been asking about the entire game so far.
You don't need to spray every package before handing them in. The spray is only for the containers. The damage evaluation at the end of the delivery is only for the stuff inside the containers. Spraying won't to anything to the damage of whatever is inside

Spray doesn’t matter. Pee doesn’t kill BTs it just stuns them. Giving likes is important. Want the most likes? Build the roads.

Not only that, the person Sam just send the pizza is Higgs(Peter is Higgs). Higgs basically using Bridges without them knowing their enemy is right in front of them also a way to troll the players doing things for the bad guy

CCuppy no there is. because the consecutive liking the game was trying to inform him about was of liking multiple structures from the same user within a certain period of time. if i spam likes on your ladder and then come across a generator you put down later- in the same play session for example - I can’t spam likes on that as well as i have already liked something of your construction fairly recently. I cant go around the map to every structure my friend told me they put down and spam 100+ likes on every one of them in a couple hours, because that ruins the whole nature of the “Likes” reward system and the value you’re supposed to feel like youre contributing to the social network of the game.
If some guy and their friends just plopped down ten useless ladders in a random spot of useless, easy terrain for maximum liking-eachother efficiency, it would discourage others coming across it from putting the effort into thoughtful constructions that benefit the online community. putting the work into constructing a road is a bit discouraged when you know MinecraftStan1234567 and his friends all have 50k likes on some ladders in a field. It would ruin the sense of value, accomplishment, and community appreciation.
TLDR: being thanked a whole lot by the community for a few things you put a lot of work and consideration into =/= Someone with a like/follower bot on all of their instagram posts, uploading garbage and then repping their “likes” and follower numbers for clout.

@@kaitlynlorentzen4375 The B.T.s, the nuclear fallout from Higgs and the terrorists, the void outs, the Time Fall has literally destroyed the entire place. Hell there's a huge crater Fragile and Sam had to cross on boat. Like that used to be part of the center of the U.S. but it's just a crater filled with water now. So a lot has happened really to make it that way. And I think this does take place at bar minimum 30 years after the Death Stranding (as Sam is a little boy in some cut scenes with Ameilie, and if Sam is supposed to be around Norman Reedus' age, then well, yeah awhile).

He really should use the gear more. Either that, or stop carrying like 3 copies of every traversal gear that just take up space and weight, all while complaining about having to much stuff to carry. You don't need 3 ropes you never use, and 3-4 PCCs you also never use other than to build a generator, which you only ever do right outside a connected hub, which can just build you a new PDD on the spot. As is, you have 3 on you that only serve to make it harder to move, take up valuable space that other cargo could use, and degrade every time you go into the rain.

Imagine a game where it recorded you talking and had the character say automated phases that fit what you said. So you say something like 'this is getting crazy' and sam will say, 'yeah it is' or 'this is beautiful scenery' and he says 'I dont mind the walk'

As opposed to something like Fallout 4 or Skyrim where there are so many side quests and whatnot that it becomes even more of a hassle to complete them all or lose track if you spend more than a day away from the game, and frankly Sean kinda bulldozes his way through a lot of this despite how long he takes admiring the scenery.
