In regards to throne of blood, it wasn’t actually that the guy just miss timed the blood spray. They accidentally set the pressure on the mechanism too high which is what caused the delay and such a large exaggerated spray

The Hokuto no Ken series is something I hold near and dear to my very soul! I was a fan of it as a young teenager. However, it became sentimental when I shared it with pops, may he rest in peace. I remember it like yesterday.
Before he passed on, as his caregiver, I asked "Yo dad. You like action flicks, right?" He said "Yeah?" Then I queried "You like martial arts movies?" He answered like he did previously. Then I asked "You like watching movies where people blow up?" Then he said "Yeah boy!" Then I introduced him to the television series that was airing on cable. Also told him that the main character's name was Ken (I got my name from my pops). Lastly he told me "Well, put that shit on, boy."
Still one of my favorite intellectual properties of all time.

I remember a moment where I was discussing an light novel series that became an anime series, online and I have read all the books and when the first season ended someone asked me to spoil the series for them because they had their exams coming up and couldn’t wait to go out and buy the books to find out what happened. So I just wrote a paragraph and a half of just the twists in the story and the person replied- “ you had me at the first half, nice joke.”. So I’ve been imagining that in a few years when either the anime gets finished or they read the book that person is gonna have a sword slice moment when they realize I told them the truth!

Not a technique but the martial arts practiced by Kenshiro's brother Toki is translated as
    The humane face breaking fist
And i love the idea that ,yes he will break your face but he will do it humanely

7:08 JoJo was originally inspired by Fist of the North Star. Like, compare Jonathan to Kenshiro and you'll see. Plus it has so many attacks referred to stand barrage which is basically the kenshiro attack rush

I will always love kenshiro. It has a huge cult following here in italy, because it was one of the first "adult" anime shown, and the italian opening song has become LEGENDARY. even if you don't get the words, give it a listen, it's so good.

On the subject of amazing technique names from Bruce Lee inspired characters: Rock Lee and Might Guy have both the great and silly technique names covered.
    Obviously there’s the classics like:
    Leaf Hurricane
    Hidden Lotus
There’s Dynamic Entry: which is just Guy dropkicking someone at the start of his battle, announcing his attack to give away the element of surprise, because he knows he doesn’t need it.
And then there’s the series of techniques that Guy has based on increasingly dangerous animals, the most dangerous of which is of course himself:
    Morning Peacock
    Daytime Tiger
    Evening Elephant and
    Night Guy
