So, for videos like these, I usually just listen to. I’m sure there are plenty of watchers though. For me, however, your tone is good and I listen while I do household tasks. And then inevitably you say something that gets me thinking. I do have to say that I keep sentimental trinkets in drawers also. Instead of being hidden away, I get a touch of sentiment daily.
Same - I also really enjoy some company while I do daily household tasks that I don't love to do (for example the dishes!)...and I prefer to find channels that get me thinking rather than channels that get me wanting to buy haha so part of my mission here is to be that company in a safe way for others who might use youtube the same way!

Bathroom: Perfumes should never be kept in the bathroom. The increase snd decrease in temperature as well as humidity will ruin them. Cover for the toothbrush for hygiene reasons? Consider letting go of the diffuser (also candles!) esp if you have respiratory issues. Dresser looks great. Love the Grecian pencil case as it’s both decorative and functional. Perhaps, find a special place where you keep all your musical instrument and sheets together?
That's so true! I stopped storaging makeup and parfum in the bathroom for that reason. I keep my parfums inside my closet, I found out they last longer (no light, no temperature changes).

Luckily I am not keeping any perfumes for use value and these ones are already around 6 years old (!) so I am ok with letting the product go, now just to see about the pretty bottles... I understand the toothbrush cover! But, I will say that my bathroom does have an enclosed toilet, so I'm mentally ok with whatever other non-toilet-related dust might get on the toothbrush since I probably ingest just as much from just existing in my house/doing daily tasks. I am still thinking about letting to of candles and diffuser - maybe by the end of this year I'll either be using them or be ready to really let them go 😅
I'm moving soon to a new flat and there's not a counter where I can place my stuff. I will have drawers tho. I think this will help me to declutter and resist the urge to buy backups. I would place your glasses in its case together with your contact lenses. Having them out there can damage them. U can sanitize the contact lenses case and use it for taking serums, creams or even concealer/foundation when u travel (specially if u have liquid restriction). I need to see a jewelry decluttering lol
My secret with the glasses is that my "home glasses" are a cheap pair (under $20) purchased online because small children tend to destroy things, and also, if I am home I am usually wearing them and just use my contacts for going out. And if I am out, my kids are not going into my room/bathroom (they're not allowed in there unsupervised). But it's still a good point and better habit to keep them in their case! (My "nicer" glasses, still inexpensive ones from online, DO live in their case when they are not on my face). I'm not sure I'm ready for a jewelry declutter yet haha I just pulled a few pieces out of my jewelry case for my "everything I was influenced to buy" video (going up tomorrow 😬) and was immediately overwhelmed. I have a lot, and don't wear a lot, but of course I like everything that I bought so it's another area of choices to be made! But I should and will do that at some point this year so stay tuned, thank you for the reminder to get that on the to-do list 🙂
I like organizing videos and I enjoy seeing what products people have in their bathroom, a free peek in the medicine cabinet! I am so nosy, I love what’s in my bag videos 😂 you should do that next! I know it’s a no buy channel and not aligned with your channels goals but I would watch it ❤ Organizing and declutterring videos are inspiring, I actually went back over things that I kept from a recent declutter and was a bit more ruthless this second time around. Getting rid of older products or finding unused products to give to my sister instead of hoarding them and then being forced to use it. I also found some things that I didn’t realize I had and organizing them will hopefully keep it in my line of sight so that I don’t repurchase something I already have. I feel really good about my space and now I know my inventory so I know what I don’t need for the rest of the year.
Haha truthfully my bag (and bag collection as a whole) is extremely neglected over summer, since my work kind of stops and I only carry belt bag with phone cards and keys when I leave for errands or whatever. But perhaps once fall season hits - seems like a good "back to school/work" kind of video to share 😉

Do you have an old plate/trivit/tile something you can santise to use as a tray for your oral hygiene things? I find coralling things, especially when they're not particularly aesthetic, can help look less cluttered. 99% something you don't need to buy new! (or thrifted)
