The new 5 series is a great car but leaves a lot to be desired even at the 540i trim, I would get an M340i fully equipped same price as the MSRP on this 530i.

@@RAMONEAuto Thank you. Been driving the G60 540i - M Sport pack - for a few weeks now. Overall I am enjoying it. They really moved it a lot closer to the 7 series in terms of ride dynamics and size of the vehicle. My biggest gripe with it is inability to turn off the auto start stop in comfort mode. When the steering is placed in sport mode it starts to feel more like a BMW and the B58 engine is still wonderful.

Nice car, but a bit underwhelming with some of the new lighting if you’re coming from a G30. I’m not sure why but you can’t get the interaction bar on the 530i as of now. You have to get the i5 or 540i.

You are Spot on! It’s absolutely mundane both inside and out, the G30 540i M sport in a tanzanite paint is the most beautiful bmw I’ve seen and I’m really hoping I can add one to the garage soon. This new 5er is a big let down

@@RAMONEAuto I’m also eyeing the G30 540i as well. I appreciate that car more than ever now. The only thing that’s holding me back is the new X3. I want to see it first before I make my decision. Some photos of the interior leaked today online. I really want the new iDrive. I think the screens and graphics are beautiful.

I feel the interior is cheap . Door tops are plastic not even stiched leatherette. No ambient lighting or comfort access in the rear doors,window button controls felt they are straight from a Corolla not sure why they are doing this cheap crap
