    Lease purchase trucking has it's benefits and, in some cases, provides a true path to ownership for those who don't have the cash to buy a truck or sufficient credit to obtain financing for a truck. Many will say a lease purchase program is just a way for trucking companies to take advantage of truckers, and it is in many instances. However, the are a few
    lease purchase companies which offer truckers a real opportunity to own their own truck. Yes, it requires you to learn to be a business owner/manager and everything that comes with it like learning what your numbers are, watching your costs, planning and preparing for maintenance and many other aspects.
    R.E. Garrison DOES offer a real path to ownership but it carrier a VERY high cost. Recently R.E. Garrison made some changes which I disagree with fully. This video covers a few of those items

    Repeat after me. Lease purchase is a scam. The program was not set up for me to be successful. The program was set up by the company for the company and for the company's sucess. Rinse and repeat.....

      In most cases what you say is very true. Most companies operate LP programs that are blatten rip off and scams. Even the FMCSA task force on leasing recognizes that and has even acknowledged that. However, there are some legitimate LP programs available which provide a very clear path to ownership while letting the LP operator actually earn a living. This is why I say time and time again before entering a LP agreement read and understand all the contracts fully even if you have to get an attorney to review and explain it so you can understand it. In my opinion REG is not a path to ownership.

    If you have a signed contract for 72% and a specific value on the truck why are y'all letting them change? I'd be taking em to court

    • @mattsoule4701
      @mattsoule4701 8 месяцев назад

      Anyone that signed a contract for 72% is still making 72%. The 70% is for anyone that signed onto Garrison after the decreased percentage

    I went from a 20 to a 22. Yes my truck payments increased by $300 but no they do not increase the amount they take out for your maintenance account unless you go negative in the account. The base percentage is 8% each settlement

    • @truckingenius

      This particular truck does have the dinette/bed. It's more handy than I had ever thought it would be. It'll be hard to switch to a truck without it when the time comes.

      I have a 2022 Cascadia it’s the premium version they call it has the same thing but the mattress is not as thick because it folds up and down when you raise and lower the table

      Actually the dinette folds flat and turns into a bed. It's super handy
