Thanks Gabe for continuing to travel and make videos. You're making a tremendously positive difference in my life and in the lives of many others across the world!
Amazing that those arches are still holding up after 2600 years. All these newer houses we live in, don't stand a chance over time. In 2600 years from now the only thing recognizable will be granite countertops laying on the ground. Someone will likely be hiking around, puzzled as to what their purpose was.
Gabriel I want to express appreciation for how quickly and close to real time that you put your videos out. It means a lot and contributes to your authenticness. So many vloggers put tjeir videos out long after their actual travels and it creates a total disconnect and personally, I lose interest. So, thanks for keeping it fresh and in the now as much as possible!
Keep going and let us at the same time know where to travel these days...I am stuck in the "high north" but one day.....back to these kinds of places. For now let us enjoy some episodes of Gabriel the will never stop exploring traveler..
Another fantastic video. The cliff tombs look amazing, even though they are crumbling. Another place I wish to travel someday! Ephesus, too. I can't wait for that video!
Go! You will not be disappointed in any region of Turkey. I lived there for 7 years best 7 years of my life! I consider it my 2nd home. Supah inexpensive to live and visit in right now as the lira is very high to the dollar. I think it's like 8.24 to the dollar so now is a great time to go! There's so much to see and do in every part of Turkey. Good luck n happy trails✌
When you got to the river if you had turned left instead of right you would have come to the little row boats to take you over the river for very little money. I spend a lot of time in Dalyan and would have loved to show you around. It,s the most wonderful place.
Thanks Gabe. I lot of people wished they can do what you do, to travel the world... But with your help, they, or should I say WE, can travel virtually with you. Gabriel Traveler, or the Explorer, thank you for the tips we learned before embarking on a journey.... stay safe.
Hey, Buddy, it was very considerate to confirm you are okay and not negatively impacted by the #Earthquake. I was concerned for your well fare. Namaste, David
“Separate ethnic group that lived here” DNA wise I don’t think there’s much difference now and back then. The turkic part of modern Turks is not that much, maybe up to 5-10% at most. It’s not like the whole Byzantine population was replaced. There’s a continuity. Also, a big part of European DNA(and yours) is Anatolian, from the time when they brought farming and agriculture into Europe.
Gabriel, I have several questions for you. 1) What is the one place you have not visited, but would like to? 2). What is the one best place you have visited, but would like to do an encore? 3) Best place to travel if money is no issue. 4) Best place to travel if money is an issue. 5) What is the most memorable tour of yours? You don't have to answer any of them, if you don't want to. I fully understand and respect your decision. Thanks. Raj

PILAJ meaning beach where you can go into water and enjoy laying on the sand... sometimes have to pay to get in. Letter J in Turkish is pronounced closer to June in English...Adding I at the end as in PILAJI means "of" and goes with a name for the Pilaj...You might want to ask someone to pronounce it for you. Otherwise you are doing really well with the pronunciations. I am really enjoying your videos... Dalyan looks to be a beautiful and interesting little town. Showing the activities of thee local people, religious for otherwise is a real plus and good addition to your presentation. People praying outside the mosque is due to COVID-19. Otherwise they would be praying inside thee mosque.
