Turkey has a lot of great destinations to offer. Exceptional landmarks, wonderful natural sceneries, historical legacies and a rich culture. Turkey is renowned for its hospitality and is always eager to please. The perfect Turkish experience is just around the corner.
It's great that you give a lot of cultural and historical insights in your videos, also that you keep the original audio of the video, that way one can experience the sounds of the places you visit and not some dumb music as other youtubers do, great work, keep it up!!
Most if not all people would have been hopping mad if their boat left without them but not Gabriel. He just takes it all in stride and keeps moving on. I would have to say these last few months would have to be your calling. It shows!
Gabe, thank you for all your amazing videos. My 11-year old son has begun to watch travel videos with me (in lieu of what I wish we could be doing- “distance learning” via traveling the world!) You are living my dream. I hope to travel more with my son in the future. I can’t think of a better way to educate him. He especially loved the pirate ships & the parrot. He went straight to his globe & proudly showed me that he knows where Turkey is. Thank you for allowing us to travel vicariously through you! You give me hope!
With love and respect from Turkey ... Gabe ; The square with the line was to fix the column ... The ancient sculptors used these basements to atache the columns , with the help of some hot , liquid bronce .
Loved the sea colour. So clean and blue despite many ships docking there. I hope it stays that way when tourism picks up. It’s so nice to always see you jump into the water wherever you go. For me the sea is much more important than the beach itself. Because the same as you Gabriel I love the feeling of the sea water. Thanks for bringing these experiences closer to us who cannot travel at this time.
08:14 The girl complained that there are nothing to see but the way up there is quite rough. She's disappointed and recommand to the others to avoid this way. So...I guess you did well by turning back to the boat.
Dude, what an adventure! Have also visited uninhabited island, while taking a holyday in Karpathos, Greece. It was a rock just above Karpathos named Saria or something. There were ruins and crystal clear water, but it was nothing compared to your exploration. And the price, if my memory doesn't lie me, was triple...25 euros. Really enjoyed your video!
Those symbols you are talking about are not symbols but they are the visible reminders where the blocks where held in place by bronze or iron pins set in molten lead. 😉
Thx 4 the cool tour. I enjoyed following along. ( I was there in Oldeniz, Turkey 🇹🇷 back in 2002) now in Taiwan 🇹🇼 thx 4 all ur vids. They are appreciated as we travel through you during these times.
Hey Gabriel. That thing you refer to as a symbol in the column base , is not actually a symbol. It's a locator peg. Columns tend to rotate under load, so an iron shaft is placed into the base in relief. Looking similar to a sundials gnomon (the thing that casts the shadow), it is imbedded into both the base and the column stopping the column from rotating off it's base and collapsing.
Endless places to explore - it really looks like there's a lot of adventure to enjoy and so much natural beauty! Great job Gabriel, this is a fantastic video.
I certainly would, I love challenging myself and when I travel vlogging I will go anywhere and try new things. I wish I was on that pirate boat for a different experience
Oh no so gutted for you that you missed Dragon boat, I know they would have loved to have had you on board. Still looks like you had a great day and exploring St Nicholas Island!!
I’m sure that music is fully licensed and all that... *happy birthday playing” This feels very much like that episode of Simpsons where Moe turns his tavern into this kitsch tourist spot.
Unbelievable crystal clear water.... U do love diving in don't u Gabriel...? Pegasus is like a family... They didn't leave their duckling behind and came back for you ♥️♥️♥️ Also listening to Bony M in midst of 7th century ruins must have been surreal 😱
shit man i remember coming here and climbing that cliff to faralya 15 years ago. stayed at george house at the top. there were only fishing boats that would come to the valley from oludeniz at the time. one of my fave travel memories. thanks for the flash backs!
Hello Gabriel 😃 Would you put a travel date and more about the people themselves, their daily lives, conversations with them about their social life, etc. GREAT, I LOOK AT YOU WITH GREAT PLEASURE✌️💙🇧🇬💗💚
A blessed good day sir Gabe what a nice Ship Adventure experience, unique designs and nice upper deck and see the breath taking viewew and swimming experience and beautiful ruins and look like a cathedral churches, a very interesting Places in Oludinez Turkey thank u so much sir Gabe for your nice excellent wonderful walk around tour video keep safe Godbless u 🙏🙂👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🇵🇭🇵🇭 from your solid fan viewer from the Philippines sir vhin
The water on the beach is very healthy, the pirate ship is also good, the valley is very amazing, the church has its own inhabitants, it is beautiful, local people are nice. This is so real, I'm watching very clearly.. wow!👍
the man's face standing in front of the two boats with the parrot on his shoulder his face looks exactly the same as the carvings on the boat is he the owner Gabe
Although the entrance fees for the various sites are inexpensive. I seem to remember that when I made a similar boat trip, maybe 30 years ago there were no charges at all. Lovely video though and very informative.
I almost missed the tour bus back to Zurich from Vaduz. Luckily, I walked down a street heading to where the bus was waiting and saw the tour guide on the bus driving by. He recognized me and must've told the driver to stop so I ran ahead and got back on. Closes I got to being left behind in another country.
@@GabrielTravelerVideos as you can see at 15:28 there is another column base and a column top with holes on them. this is the way ancient greeks invent to joint the spondyls of a column. thats why you see this pattern so often when visit ancient ruins. fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fichier:Empolia_and_poloi.jpg so many grinding grains for flour in this place would be unusual i think.
First off Sir you are the man. Secondly you have super nice video quality and editing. I've been watching guys travel/adventure South East Asia, places like China, Vietnam, Slovakia, Africa and you my friend are right up there with them on top of that list. You have some balls going through Turkey and those types of parts of the world. In case you enjoy watching travel vlogs I highly suggest PPPeter, SerpentZA and Laowhy86, ADVChina. I mean these guys are hardcore adventurers like you is why I mention them. For PPPeter check out his South African vlog seriess it is absolutely insane, his new stuff is fun too though. For SerpentZA you have to go back to when he lived in China like search for his "village crawl" videos for old school or scroll down his video page, same with Laowhy86 search backwards, the world today has people freaked out and not traveling as much. Anyways hope you get some enjoyment from those dudes, they're hardcore just like you which why I subbed to your channel here.
That same guy said we was taking me to a lookout view spot in the mountains and he actually took me to his brothers carpet store and wouldnt take me back till i bought a carpet.
Oh a pirate's life is a wonderful life, a-rovin' over the sea. Give me a career as a buccaneer, it's the life of a pirate for me. Oh the life of a pirate for me!
Thank you for this bit of normality, it restores my badly shaken faith in humanity. Keep traveling, and keep living. You got yourself a new subscriber.
Another great video to brighten up a grey cool day here in the UK. I heard you say you were using a GoPro but a few weeks ago Im sure you said you were using a DJI Osmo Action. Are you still using it? If so any chance you could do a review of it at some point?
Hi Gabriel, we saw your video "A Tour of Kas". It took you several days to upload a video because of poor internet. Do you maybe remember how was internet in Oludeniz? We want to spend several months in the area but I need a decent internet connection as I work on-line.
Wow!! Would love to explore that area.... question for you? How do you secure your backpack when you're alone on a ship like that or you just want to go swimming alone?
People in Turkey are very honest. I dropped my wallet on a bus; all money, credit cards and ID's were untouched when it was returned. I lived there for four years, and had many positive situations like that. Now, it's a completely different dealing with people connected to the government. My experience with them was scary, to say the least. But normal Turks, the best people in the world.
I think Gabe should permanently travel with his new parrot friend. The ruined church shows clear signs of earthquake damage. In the west it would be closed off to tourists for fear of collapsing walls.
Turkey has a lot of great destinations to offer. Exceptional landmarks, wonderful natural sceneries, historical legacies and a rich culture. Turkey is renowned for its hospitality and is always eager to please. The perfect Turkish experience is just around the corner.
Thanks Gabbie for showing the world for people like me, thanks mate.

Yes, Turkey is very beautiful and unique! Glad you enjoyed ✨
The square with the line is a pedestal for a column.
Most if not all people would have been hopping mad if their boat left without them but not Gabriel. He just takes it all in stride and keeps moving on. I would have to say these last few months would have to be your calling. It shows!
It’s like in Croatia. All the boats have an agreement to ship each other’s tourist passengers back in event of a no show.
Thanks!

Like your videos including latest of turkey🇹🇷 love the country and the Turkish people very friendly as I visit turkey🇹🇷 few times

I like the responsibility they took and sent a speedboat to get you. Great place to visit and the food looks amazing! ☺👍👏🇺🇸
It's not a Gabriel Traveler video without going underwater.
Yep...Gabriel always seems to be happier when he is near the beach and the water ! What a FUN video !!!
That's a Californian for you
Gabriel. You always seem to amaze us. Just as amazing, are the Turkish people - helping you when stranded.
These parrots are so lovely, and friendly, great explore and as usual making the most of the amazing sunny weather...👏👏🔥🔥
I can't hardly wait to go to Turkey. Looks amazing and the prices for everything are really cheap. I get there on the 31st of this month.
Sweet.
Enjoy! Note that weather is not like this now and it gets colder day by day.
Hi Gabriel < with that kind of intro and title , also the way you filmed and edited this clip , i think this is your best video yet
08:14
The girl complained that there are nothing to see but the way up there is quite rough.
She's disappointed and recommand to the others to avoid this way.
So...I guess you did well by turning back to the boat.
Interesting, thanks for the translation.
I’ve done that trip, and there really is nothing to see up the track, and the waterfall is a small trickle, not worth the hype of the tour company.

" Great Video Gabriel ....... Very Enjoyable Content ! "
Gabriel, the circular symbol with the square in the middle with the line, you said you've seen it before. Well, me too. Uber uses that exact symbol
You're right, that's hilarious.
The poor people like us no chance to see and touch because of that you are doing fine for us shows the world.. thanks Mr Gabriel...
Endless places to explore - it really looks like there's a lot of adventure to enjoy and so much natural beauty! Great job Gabriel, this is a fantastic video.
I'm loving your adventure's in Turkey Gabe...I had a feeling you were gonna get stranded when we were in the ruins...lol
Your videos brighten my day. I always look forward to seeing the next one.
Gabe that was nice they sent a power boat to come pick you up ....nice video very enjoyable
Turkey looks amazing ;-) I cant to go there one day when we can travel again.
Fantastic. Loved it.
The square symbol is actually a base of a column where a metal rod ran through the marble
I certainly would, I love challenging myself and when I travel vlogging I will go anywhere and try new things. I wish I was on that pirate boat for a different experience
The weather is so good into October!

I need to.get out there at some point. Great work as always Gabriel
Turkey is super adorable right now. It's like half the price as normal. They have inflation these last couple years
Welcome to Turkey...
Good job on staying safe and not continuing up in those flipflops!

the area in turkey that you are in has a resemblance to san diego county where I live, i'm talking about the beach and nature

think that round stone you refer with the line coming from centre is for grinding grain to make flour...with other one on top same size.
That makes sense, seems like it would have some sort of practical purpose.

I actually swam in the Gulf of Mexico today and pretended to be like Gabriel underwater with the camera . I’m a huge fan !
So jealous of you! Hope you had a great time!
I love the jungle explorer music!
Klaus Badelt's "He's a Pirate" is the most played song in that town.
Yes that's right
I love that you can just walk around in those ruins, in Europe everything would have been fenced off and you can only stay on a small route
That looks so amazing
Should have called it a 3 Hour Pirate Ship Adventure, like a certain 3 hour tour in the memory of people our age.
Nice live man. Stay Healthy.
I would ride that pirate ship for sure.
Brilliant one Gabriel 👍🍻
The pirate ships are amazing !

I heard you say you were using a GoPro but a few weeks ago Im sure you said you were using a DJI Osmo Action. Are you still using it? If so any chance you could do a review of it at some point?
Almost all of this video was filmed with the DJI. I'm just using the Gopro for the underwater shots.
@ 5:56 is a butterfly...lol 14:29 wow nice ..16:18 very impressive that was an excellent video

To the best of my recollection it was pretty slow in Oludeniz as well, but not nearly as bad as in Kas.
That island is gemile island, the tomb of saint Nicholas was once there
Show us the food and prices where you visit please after all that is also part of the journey as we have to eat to live also.
Nice of them to rescue you in that speedboat reckon you got your moneys worth.👍
you the man!
Isn't that bird on your Instagram post. haha nice. that 8 bucks is a great deal
Yes, same bird. Jake the pirate parrot.
Wow!! Would love to explore that area.... question for you? How do you secure your backpack when you're alone on a ship like that or you just want to go swimming alone?
I keep it with me at all times, or if I swim then I keep my eyes on it.
Ahh thanks.. i wondered

It's great to be able to keep your eye on your backpack while swimming that way you can watch it get stolen
Did you land in Dalaman or Antalya airport to get to this beach?
I can't remember actually. My first destination on that trip was Oludeniz, so I must have flown into the closest airport.
@@GabrielTravelerVideos I’m assuming you flew into Dalaman airport which is the nearest and you headed east towards Oludeniz.
I think Gabe should permanently travel with his new parrot friend. The ruined church shows clear signs of earthquake damage. In the west it would be closed off to tourists for fear of collapsing walls.
I was thinking the same thing about collapse. I would hate for anyone to have that fall on them. Careful, Gabe!
Gabriel a true traveler maybe even a pirate
