As an Asian american who went to go see "crazy rich asians" when it came out, I can confirm. Shame that poc have to prove these movies are worth it but at least they're pretty good movies. (Although I'm not going to be seeing mulan. Disney's already got the world at its feet and the original is good enough)

Also, I like the way that his style is savvy and "clean" - meaning that it's easier for me to look at and take lessons for developing some of my own material.
