I find it so refreshing how Max remembered and named the physios that helped him. So many would gloss over them entirely or forget their individual names (and understandably perhaps after the whirlwind of winning etc.) but Max just seems like such a genuinely good person in that way, nobody is beneath him.
Max is the greatest ambassador the tour could ask for. Nicest most relatable dude, naturally funny and an absolute baller + he has the perspective that a lot of these star players don't have due to going through such a tough period in his career early on. Everyone can learn a lot from Max and I can't recommend listening to the old 2020-2021 Get a Grip podcast enough, there are priceless gems nearly every ep for any golfer to apply to their game from a mental POV. Thanks for the ep Smylie, this was awesome and your genuine relationship with guests helps a lot in making these more authentic.

I played against Pace Johnson in a NCGA scratch league match. That dude beats the cover off the ball. Longest player I’ve ever played against for sure.
The Ryder Cup and the President’s Cup must feel like majors, and Max has played really good in those, so… Now he’s got a good Master’s performance under his belt, too. Time to get it on!
