Great video. My daughter and I did Free at Sea+ on the Prima last spring and definitely a great value for us. We both love wine with our meal as well as San Pellegrino bottled water and Starbucks! It more than paid for itself.
Thank you for taking the time to break this down. We don’t drink alcohol but I love virgin pina colada’s. We may want to get the FAS Plus just for the internet, dining, and xtra shore excursions. I might even drink coffee at Starbucks. Hope you have a wonderful 2024.
Thanks, man. We just booked the Bliss in November. We upgraded the Plus only because we were going to do the internet and buy water anyway. I'll come back and give you feedback. I'm hoping it's worth it.
The shore exursion credit is NOT per port, it is per excursion. In other words, if you did two excursions at a port, you get the credit on BOTH. Also, the shore excursion credits are included in the sailaway rate. Also, you needn't take the drink package in order to enjoy the other perks. One could decline the drink package, and accept the specialty dining package, or decline both and still get the WiFi and shore excursion credit. When it comes to FAS+, you correctly mention that FAS+ applies only to guests 1 and 2 (and they are the only ones billed at $49/pp/day). Any guests beyond 2 in the room must upgrade to the Premium+ beverage package, at a cost of $34.80/pp/day and enjoy none of the other FAS+ perks.
Great breakdown, but there is no way on my cruise that it is worth it to upgrade to the plus pkg. NCL wants $1925 per person for our 13 day cruise, that is Outrageous! I thought it was a misprint but that's what they are charging. I am fine with just the basic FAS pkg.
That doesn't seem right, on our next cruise on the getaway the cost to Upgrade to Plus is $1,176.00 for a 12 day cruise for the 2 people. Your $1925 seem very high. Are you sure that is for the free at sea plus package? it should only be $98 a day for the first 2 people in a room.
I looked today, that $1925 is the premium plus drink package only not the Free at sea plus offer. I agree I would never do the premium plus drink package only total rip off.

Thank you.

For the speciality dining, is that 2 meals per person in the cabin or 2 meals total for the cabin to share or 2 meals for the 1st person?

Yes , I know I have the free at sea package but that is for the premium package. That is outrageous!
For my 10 day cruise it costs £249 per person for “free at Sea” and it says that gratuities at 20% are added to that ???
Yes I believe that is true.
