Hello, I just came across your video. My tiny house budget, thank God for you. I bought land in Belize littery last week on the West Side, a second-row lot. I've never been to Believe I plan to visit next year. To make a long story short, I thought I needed a blessing to build a beautiful modern home for my dog and me. You know, a bigger budget, but watching your video, you gave great information and helped me with a more reasonable price. Thank you. Great episode Jamie I think this should be very helpful for young professionals to get an idea early in life even as an investment idea if not for personal use. Were you able to incorporate any cost saving environmental technology like solar for energy or water heating or are those technologies still significantly expensive for the tiny home scale of construction and living?
Thanks Ian! I’m still exploring the options of solar power and solar water heating, so I’m definitely going to make a vid on this. Solar energy can be costly up front because of all the variables - size of house, appliances, number of household members - but I’ll definitely share the ways to incorporate solar energy. 😊

Thanks! I got the material from Koop Sheet Metal and a friend of the owner did the preparation of the siding. My architect did the sourcing but I’ll see if I can get a contact.

Sure I don’t mind. My bank didn’t give me a reason as to why my loan was approved. But I believe I was approved based on my banking history, having a steady stream of income, I had practically no debt and because I’m a first time homeowner.
