Hurricane Grace - Isla Mujeres Driving Through the Colonias and Home

This last video from this morning I was trying to get to downtown but was blocked by a downed electric line. As I was driving along the salina the water was deep and I stopped for a while to consider if I should even risk it. At this point I was still considering trying to get downtown but as I was driving I realized that the winds were getting stronger and if I were to break down or get stuck I would be in trouble.
As I was driving back south the winds go so strong that the rain hurt my face and I could barely see. It's hard to tell in the video but I had my face covered as much as possible and just hoping to make it home safely. All the while wondering if I will ever learn my lesson..... perhaps.
What started as a fun outing for me and my dog and to get video to share with you all turned into quite a scary trip. I think we are both very grateful to have made it home safely.
