I alr know some softies gonna complain, you don't need an accessport for a tune, use that money to buy more mods 🤷♀️ instagram.com/life_of_tuners?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
Got an Eonon head unit for only 160 bucks off Amazon and it came with their version of the OBD2 thing and is exactly as described. So much real estate for gauges and it’s helped me diagnose several CEL’s. I monitor IAT, AFR, fuel rail pressure, LT and STFT, boost/vac, and a bunch of other things. You can also get a package that adds more that you can monitor like BAT, knock detection effectively being able to monitor everything you can on an AP with way more screen space
I have torque downloaded on my headhunt and hard wired to my car so i have got all the information on there with 0 delay. I have got shift lights and temperature warnings setup. I can also data log through it. I just use the versatuner to tune the car. Literarlly 10x better than an access port and only cost me like $350
yeah pretty much, i got an elm327 for just $20 usd a few years ago and its made me feel an accessport is basically useless at this point when i can just get versatuner for tuning, its been a dream in my car aswell as i bought the eonon android head unit and its probably the best thing in my car.
Yeah, don't get me wrong, it's still a great lil thing, but people fail to realise that you can get tuned without an accessport, when you can use that money for other, more beneficial things
@@LifeOfTuners exactly, and you pretty much looking at the price have convinced me of just getting a versatuner liscence and the wire, its seriously less than half the price.
i spent 500$ usd on my AP and it has terrible build quality feels like i could crush it in one hand but it is good at its job and paired with a protune you can get your car running well.
@@ByCrail yeah so versatune is actually a software that you use to upload tunes basically, similar to Cobb, so yeah I know for sure that Purple Drank does versatunes, idk about freek
Nah but like I'd rather use my money on a downpipe and corksport tmic over that pile 🤧🤧 And also a lot of brokies be buying that sht, living paycheck to paycheck buying car parts to buy stuff they don't need
@@LifeOfTuners a tune should always be the first mod even without other mods, but I think one thing you did miss in your video was that you did not talk about was Versatune being a software only; the reason why it's so much cheaper. The access port being hardware(a handheld device) allows you to run multiple function that Versatuner would required an additional accessories(for example, OBD reader, laptop doing data logs, and gauges). yes I know you covered those with that OBD reader. but a big one would be doing data logs; which would be a inconvenience to bring a laptop with you. yes the Versatuner is half the price of an Accesport but you can easily find a used one for just 100$ more, and you will have all the additional features. not trying to be biased but I would go with the Accesport regardless, but I appreciate you helping others out. a lot of people trying to cheap out and end up calling their speeds unreliable when they ZZB lol
@@luciomunoz7 nah like i get that, accessport definitely are great, and I get your concerns about data logging and sht, but bruh, you're gonna only go through a tuning process once a year tops, so it's not that big of a deal for most, just chuck that mf on the passenger seat. A vesatune and tune is the exact same reliability as a accessport and tune, just if you go the versatune route you can buy an hpfp for less money to make more power and reliability. Accessport definitely have there place though

I've never felt simultaneously attacked yet represented from a RUclips video lol
ahahahaha
I could afford one, but my car doesn't even have OBD2. 😂 I'd get a Apexi Power FC with the Commander.
HUH 😭😭😭 OBD2 DELETE???
@@LifeOfTuners No, it's still OBD1 😂

Only thing it doesn’t work with iPhone?
You have to buy a wifi one, not a Bluetooth one apparently
