I must respectfully disagree with you on this one, bro. This is nothing more than a meaningless gesture that Puff is using to try to polish his image. Is he cutting checks to give them a real share of what their music generated? No. He's not. Is he giving them a meaningful share of the money those songs are generating in the streaming era? NOPE. This would have mattered 20 years ago. It's just peanuts now and Puff knows that. Is he signing artists to more fair and equitable deals now? I doubt it. The girl from Danity Kane broke it down for us. Mase definitely told us what he thinks. Puff screwed them out of their fair share and they're all still grabbing their ankles.
What's saddest to me is this is another example of how when black people got into positions of power in the music industry, they did black artists just as dirty as the white men that came before them 😡🤦🏾‍♂️😫

Honestly can’t argue with your assessment. I acknowledged in the video that the useful life for most of these songs has already been gone. I could see it being valuable for Biggie and Mase, but beyond that I’m not sure.
