This is a throwback indeed. I remember getting this as a 10 year old and being so excited, however was very disappointed as soon as I discovered the vehicles were rubber and had no functionality. I was hoping the set would be a like a modern version of the classic Tracey Island set from the 1960s TV show, which was awesome. Great review!
Thanks for your comment and me too I remember when I was younger realising they were made of rubber instead of plastic felt a bit odd but was the same with the new captain Scarlet from Bandai as well which I’ve also done a video on. As mentioned in the video there is an extra vehicle set which can be purchased based on a Thunderbirds movie which has features in the vehicles but this doesn’t work with Tracy island. They’ve made quite a few trace answers over the years based on the original and of course the latest TV show from ITV. Thanks for watching, more videos on Thunderbirds and Captain Scarlet planned.
