Dear lord ben the imagery and and music work together like nothing else I've heard and seen! Incredible. Such a leap forward in your art, so damn inspiring man!
Dude...I don't know what to say. It's super inspiring to watch you experiment with simple ideas like fake guitar and fake vaporwave and turn it into a beautiful work of art. The animation on this thing is the best I've ever seen you do. I've been feeling the same way, except some days I don't snap back. Thank you for creating.
Mind-blowingly incredible. SOOO inspiring. I'm not gonna scroll through the comments though because I don't feel like getting frustrated about the hundreds of "are you okay man? Maybe stop doing drugs" and "I don't get it, where's the music theory?" retorts LOL
The Hotel/Seattle always gives me goosebump. When "I wish my dead would hunt me" came out it was speaking to me like no other song after I also lost so many family member during 2020 and 2021. Thanks Ben
Can't believe it's been almost three years and this still hasn't been topped as a piece of audiovisual art. I still come back to this all the time. (I love all your new stuff too though Ben!)
I've watched this in full probably 20 times. And here I am again....for the 21st time. Something about this entire work of art....speaks to me SO deeply. I love this so much. That's all I got right now. Hope anyone reading this is ok and isn't afraid right now. Love you. :)
These musical tone poems all by themselves are mastepieces of composition - then layer on the astounding visuals . . that liminal space with the room with the girl in the mirror - I swear I've been in that room before.
ben!!! thank you for sharing this grotesquely beautiful human experience. the catharsis is immeasurable and painful - a good pain! a confrontational pain that encourages growth.
The visual work adds so much more depth to everything. Particularly love what you did with the visual work for Circumcise the Lord. Really captures the intensity of the feelings I've sensed from you on the subject before. Really, really nice work!
This is amazing, Ben. I particularly appreciate the one about the meat and the taco line, with the gruesome imagery. In fact, all the honesty about food in this is excellent and much needed. Also the synth-voice rap in that whole section really got me going. Rhythmically and lyrically right on.
this is so incredible. the vaporwave like slow-down crossfade key change? what? that was so beautiful. And the animation is otherworldly. So grateful for Ben's art in my life and in the world!
I almost don't have any words to offer after my second viewing. They've been swept away by your imagery and tones. You somehow continue to dig deeper each time and reach something so fundamental and yet in a way that takes you on this journey that only you could dream up through your years of dedication and contemplation. Just insanely stunning and wholy inspiring me to reach for the next rung of my own journey. I hope the Blender org knows about you - you're the music world's Ian Hubert.
There is an entire universe in a boiling pot of water. Knowing this is who we are is the most beautiful thing there is. If we could see ourselves in every animal, every enemy, every faucet of our own being, how could we choose to kill ourselves? We're searching for the demon, and that too, is us. We can never solve this problem, of the world killing itself. We become aware of this demon only to feel it's pain, and in the end this love has to be enough. I love you, Ben. Thank you for showing me your world.
What I love about your music is that what it does for me evolves through time, and your whole discography is somehow there for me in different ways, always. What I love about this EP is that is visually and audially illustrates the feeling of alienation and detachment from reality I seem to be experiencing. It feels and sounds and looks like what it is to not fully experience life and to be fed things that happen to me rather than to go out and grab hold of events. I appreciate that there's now something I can use to explain and explore what that's like instead of just dealing with it on my own. Thank you, Ben! This is colossal!
The music is incredible!!!! The animation is like nothing else in this world!!! Together it is truly an amazing piece of art!!!!!!!!!! Bravo, spaceman!!!
to quote Clint from Lazy Game Reviews, "What I'm being educated here is that I have not done enough drugs to understand this..." but I'm mesmerized nonetheless
Truly a masterpiece. It's crazy to see how you've improved since you started making things in blendr. I adore the path you have taken with your music and I love how you have been able to incorporate stunning animation with it. Well done.
Dude.. did you some how astral travel into the breakthrough dmt trip I had a few years ago because this is the first video I've ever seen to nail it so close. Great work of art dude!!! I loved it!
Smashed it out of the park like always man, Love the slightly newer style you went for everything felt much more polished than the previous ones and the use of those ai textures are fucking nuts. Fucking awesome man, its really interesting to see how your styles change especially with the visuals. I would be intrigued to see a more serious one without jokes i bet that would be really cool
The constant zooming in to reveal more detail felt very Lynchian a la Eraserhead. The return to the penne rigata at the end felt very satisfying. Jeepers this was well done. Thank's for the ride.
Can you please make a tutorial on making AI generated pictures for your animations. It's very unique, especially in your context; An EP Movie. I'm sure it will help many aspiring animators.
This bring tears to my eyes and at times laughter too. I've never experienced a more visceral display of our existence through art. Thank you for making us know what it is to feel human. 🎶🎧💕🎭
Me too. (I get goosebumps from the growl at the end of I'm a Computer. ) It's a strange thing, the feeling is so strange and I am compelled to share it but it's really challenging my vocabulary to even draw a circle around it. So I listen and watch over and over and try to understand my thoughts/feelings. Whatever it is, it's intense and it feels GREAT!
You are simply an absolute genius! Amazingly original music, like nothing I've ever heard before, yet it's not only dryly experimental, it's bursting with emotions at the same time. And your animation skill have gotten really really good as well. You are a huge inspiration, Ben. Sending love.
this is such an incredible piece! i remember months ago watching you make some of these tracks and they all sound so good, plus the animation is better than ever - kind of reminds me of some classic cyriak stuff, but more fluid. good job :)
this work officially did 2 things: 1) it reminded me that Ben Levin is a creative powerhouse and a mad genius; and 2) it reminded you of Cyriac, which made you leave your comment, thus reminding me of Cyriac, and how I used to binge his stuff & just about anything else from albinoblacksheep and newgrounds back in college... the circle of likes keeps going...
Sonically and visually, one of the greatest pieces of art I have seen and listened to. This is the kind of thing I want to do in my own way. I hope to see more of your works in the future, but this alone will stand tall as a great moment in time. Well done
This is sick! Thank you Ben for stirring my emotions. I've never experienced some of them before. I love the lyrics as well, bits like "I have a little bowl there's really nothing in it but my room is packed with stuff I take for granted". All the best to you man.
I love that this EP includes both intensely gruesome and heavenly moments. Dug that about your Jelly Mound and really digging again here, in completely different form. Excellent job on this one, especially "The Hotel".
This is a Chaos Peak experience. My senses have been heightened/deepend almost to full completion. Now I want to clean my room to reemerge Order into my life. Thank You!
Watching this.....makes me feel like I did when I first saw Animal Collective's "ODDSAC" back in..the day. Verrrry similar vibe. Feeling uneasy....very seen....and very inspired. This is a masterpiece of music and visuals...
This is amazing Ben. The neural network ai-generated artstyle stuff is astounding, the constant shifting into new perspectives and images, familiar, yet uncanny all the same. The music is incredible as well, but I can tell you've put tons of work into the visuals, and it shows.
This is fantastic animation and music, directed toward an idea. You have really developed your craft, but you must have a tortured deep imagination. I can only dream of aspiring to such depths and heights. Thank you for showing what is possible and keep up the good work.
Holy moly. I love how we get photogrammetry into 3D modelling into lyric-driven AI art into AI art UV layered onto 3D models into Wii Sports tennis 😄 How the fuck do you make something so cohesive out of so many styles?? You're a real inspiration, my dude.
Wow… just spectacular. I can’t think of anything else in the world that has made me feel the way this piece did. Love your work Ben, someday I hope to share a piece I did inspired from you.
This dude must be the most creative artist I've ever heard. The animation is so unique that unique is a understatement of a word. Are some of the lyrics AI generated?
those little things floating around in the pasta water really resonates, am always stirring my pasta with the utensil that I'm also using to stir whatever sauce I'm making to go with it
Wow, this was... Something... After the first five minutes I felt completely sucked in and a bit brainwashed as well. The whole vibe reminded me of a Tool video I watched in my teens, that caused me nightmares because of the way song and video were presented. I appreciate art that can cause such strong emotions, that remain with you for a while even after listening and or watching. You did a great job, inflicting such emotions on me.
You're a true genius Ben and and this was beautiful, disturbing, moving, funny, spectacular and impressive. Thank you so much for being such a constant source of inspiration and belief.
Dear lord ben the imagery and and music work together like nothing else I've heard and seen! Incredible. Such a leap forward in your art, so damn inspiring man!

@@BenLevin I think your viewers are all speechless Ben. This shit really blew my mind.
It's sometimes hard to believe this can come out of a human. You are a rare and wonderful artist and you make the world so much richer. Thank you Ben!
This makes me feel nice!
I came here from a twitter link saying this was AI music. Now I'm confused
Ben is an artsyficial intelligence.
This pasta recipe looks good but its kinda hard to follow.
In all seriousness this is one of the best pieces of art I've ever seen keep it up ben!
That's amazing. That deserves a thumb if anything does. 🤣🤣
This is 15 years, minimum, ahead of what the current masses understand.
