      Thank you. I’ve been watching her for years. She really knows a lot about fleece and dyeing. I would love to go to one of her dyeing classes in person.

    I’ve been using Namaste Farms products - absolutely the best of any of the other scour products out there and I think I’ve tried every one of them by now. Highly recommend - thanks for posting this demo!

      The only thing that is difficult is getting over how little water is needed. Glad to hear I am not the only one who thinks this is great.

    Does Scour the Scoundrel work if there is a lot of dried blood in a fleece shorn post slaughter?

    • @DoloresJacobs
      @DoloresJacobs  Год назад

      Hi, I don’t have any experience with removing blood. Generally, Scours are formulated to remove grease/lanolin. If you are lucky, the lanolin has protected the wool from the blood. Try it and let us know how it works.

    Could this be used with alpaca fiber or would it felt?

      Yes, you can use it with Alpaca. Wash it Dye would be best to use on alpaca because Alpaca does not have grease. If you have Scour the scoundrel it will also work. Just be gentle when massaging the scour into the fiber and use lots of water. Alpaca love to roll in the dirt. Warm water will open the scales on the fiber and release the dirt.
