I have the smaller one, I live alone so it's perfect for me. I love this thing, best ever. I've owned a Crux, a Cosori, an ActiFry...now this one. I really should have bought it first!!

Great comparison. There is only me and the wife so I'm going for the 300. Used this guide to check that its features weren't inferior to the 400. I actually prefer the display on the 300 without the knob.
I have the original one and like you use almost every day. The only complaint I have is when using both baskets you have to add at least two three minutes to your cooking times for your items as the temperature not as displayed , 400F with both sides going cooks about 380F. Small niggle, but something to keep in mind.
What do you mean sorry the temperature is not as displayed? I can't find out more about this online. I have just bought the smaller one 7.5l drums but not sure if I should return for the larger one before I use it.
@@Em-po6ep when using two baskets it can take much longer to get same results, so therefore the conclusion is neither of them are actually at set temperature. Example Frozen French fries in one basket @ 400 f usually air fries to where I like them at around 12-13 minutes. Putting fries in both baskets at same temperature can take 5-6 minutes or more longer If you check book that came with air fryer you’ll see that cooking times vary quite a bit if using single basket versus both baskets. It is a not a big problem but it takes a bit of getting used too.
Got the smaller version, and really enjoying cooking with it, did the 2 roast whole chickens from your video and the results were great, moist meat and delicious crispy skin 👍

I was watching QVC with an offer on the bigger version recently. Watching the demonstrations and reading reviews on Amazon every one seemed to rave about this product. So I bought one yesterday from Argos the bigger version. Had to wait a couple of days for stock. QVC had sold all there stock completely and we’re doing pre orders but to long to wait for the item. I have never owned any sort of air fryer. Always use an oven. I would say that I am a confident cook with an oven. Anyway I was excited to test this product, had some potatoes lying around so thought it was a good idea to try roast potatoes at about 10am in the morning😀. Set it on 200 on roast for 25 minutes. I would normally skin and boil the potatoes first Off, then fluff them up then cook them. But I just cut them up with the skins on and added salt and pepper. I gave them a shake between the 25 minutes. And by the end they were done. Could not believe the results, I thought as I had not boiled them they would be a bit hard. I added a small spoon off oil. And thought that they would be burnt to a crisp. But not the case. Seems like the oven uses more oil. Or maybe I add to much oil. ? When cooking in an oven. Then later I cooked tempura prawns. I put them in for 7 minutes and shanked them once. They were done perfectly. If I done them in the oven 15 minutes + 15 minutes to heat the oven. Wow impressive. But I must have a good instinct for cooking because I have not used any air fryer before and seem to be getting bang on results. 👍. This product will definitely not be collecting dust after a couple of weeks, I think that main oven will definitely we used a whole lot less. I own a George Forman grill that does great cheese and onion toasted sandwiches and I still use that product.

very well explained thank you ,top man,
Cheers 🙂👍
Great Review - Thanks!
Did anyone else want to see the smaller basket in the bigger unit just to see how much space was left over lol?
I'll stick it in the FB page next week as I'll have to get the basket back of my mate Ian who now has the smaller one. 🙂👍
Will smaller one fit whole chicken?
Thank you so much. I am so indecisive as to which one to get. We are a family of 4 adults, but one is about to move out. Do I really then need the really big one? I still don’t know lol. However you have really helped thank you.
Thanks for watching Deborah. I'd say if you can get the big one, go for it. You won't regret getting the bigger one Vs getting the small one.
@@1Pizza2Many thank you so much! Yes I have made a decision and it’s the big one! Happy Christmas 🎄
Thanks
Thanks for this video!
Did I miss running costs ?
Thanks a good review
The new one has better individual display but the smaller one has easy 1 touch menu button, easy for kids to cook, rather than turn knob on newer bigger one, what a conundrum,Airbus vs Boeing!! Darn you Ninja!!
Excellent helpful demo though,Chef! Happy Cooking
I live alone so went for smaller one if u have more to feed it makes sense to go big but for me it was based on only my mouth to feed it's a quality item too not cheap feeling or looking even the box was nice quality !
They are both good ww have the one on the left the smaller version we are a family of 4 and I manage but they are absolutely amazing x
Lisa how do find the handles? This is the only thing putting me off the small one.
Morning I find them ok and had no problem at all. Ww got ours before all the hipe about them .. love the small one it does us ok but will eventually invest in the bigger and use both lol ..
@@lisastrafford3987 hi, Thankyou very much for quick reply, was very helpful 🙂 x
@@ginbob46 your very welcome 🤗
How does it compare to the Ninja Foodi MAX Pro?
Could you fit a quiche in there? Like a tesco quiche or something
Yep one of the small ones 👍
Is this a better all rounder for cooking compared to the 15 in 1?
Hi Gary, it all depends on what you mainly cook tbh, as both machines are quite different.
@@1Pizza2Many I mainly want one to save time cooking and do quick meals, especially saving money due to rising gas prices. I guess I would use it for roasting meats, potatoes, chicken wings and maybe steaks if they taste nice. i think the double cooking option looks better for a family? So swaying to get that
Yep the dual zone part of it is a game changer.
Hi, I'm a single, retired guy, who lives alone. I do cook, but rarely use my oven. I use a wok on the hob, a rice cooker or a slow cooker. I've heard loads about the Ninja AF, but wonder if I would actually use it - What do you think?
Hi Andrew. I would say you would once you get used to using it. 🙂
Enjoyed your presentation on these, thing is you cannot get them any were ,All out of stock , your link also none ,,must be very popular in these days of high energy ,
Thanks Stephen. Yes they are like gold dust atm. Last place to stock them was QVC last Sunday I believe.
Great video thank you ❤
I notice there is a AF450 and AF400, what is the difference?
Can you fit 4 typical portions of salmon in 1 drawer? Or 3 chicken breasts?
Yes 👍
Say if you only wanted to use 1 section will the other side stay off or will both run?
Other side will stay switched off 🙂👍
@@1Pizza2Many thank you!
Is the top flat to put pans on ?
No, it's only plastic, it wouldn't really take the weight of pans.
@@1Pizza2Many ok thank you
Thank you for your review 🙏. I’ve been wanting the bigger Ninja for ages, but it’s always out of stock. I’ve seen a few on Amazon, but they’re over £600! There are only 2 of us in the house, but my other half works hard and eats twice as much as I do. 😊
dont bother with this, get single one with over 9lt capacity, having 2 baskets is 2 times the cleaning, plus any airfyer life is no more than 2 years, get the cheapest and biggest basket version, if airfyer can not take 2kg chicken inside DO NOT BUY it...
if you are soo keen to buy ninja there are tons of them selling on facebook market place, i am guessing they realise that it was a big mistake to buy this 2 basket version...???
@@bektaskonca5189 what a fake info. airfyer can easiy lasts more than 2years
Hello, could you possibly answer a question for me as I have searched the internet and cannot find an answer? what is the difference between the ninja AF400Uk and the Af451UK? many thanks
Yep no worries 😊
The new one (AF451UK) has a probe that you can use to set cooking temperatures like the grills have. Also it has gone back to the touch screen style buttons like the smaller original model. 👍
@@1Pizza2Many Gosh you were quick to answer thank you so much. I have the AF400UK but I saw that qvc was selling the AF451Uk for £179 so much cheaper than what I paid for my model. I got mine after watching your videos now I don't use my oven at all.
@@joannapocock6055 haha no worries, I was online when yours piped up. That's such a good deal. I might have a look myself now 🤣
Bigger one is 50 quid more expensive and i like the look of the smaller one more so will be going 7.6. realistically i dont think adding the bottom bit of that handle will make the joint any stronger uptop
But the weight distribution is way better...
Can you do a full chicken in the smaller one?
Yep, I have a video showing this too 😁
Thank u great video
Great video
Thank you for a clear and concise comparison - can the smaller one cook a 1.5kg chicken? The drawers at only 10cm deep seem a bit small. Cheers
Yes they can. I managed two 1.8kg chickens in the smaller one in the video where I cooked one in each draw. 🙂👍
appreciate!
WoW bought my dual air fryer at 2.49 the price has gone up 😮 in feb2023
Hi Simon, I have been unable to buy a Ninja anywhere - so popular but my daughter has bought me a Sur La Table Duel Basket Air Fryer 7.6l from Costco. Not got it yet but have you ever come across these and if so, what do you think?
Hi Paul. No I've never seen any info on these. I know that Aldi have a dual zone in I think from today.
@@1Pizza2Many Thanks. I'll let you know how we get on.
@@paul8386 How did you get on with it mate ?
Hi guys, keep an eye on my newly set up Amazon Influencer Store. I have linked the dual zone but price are still inflated from those sellers who have stock. 🙂👍
