THIS is the review I've been looking for!! btw the tape on the worktop is genius. I've been researching all evening and I now know (purely due to this video) that I do indeed want the larger.
Thank you so much for the comment, really appreciate it (particularly when I have a habit of spending the whole next day thinking about how I could have made it better! 😆)
This is the third video of yours that I've watched after deciding I wanted to upgrade to a Ninja Air Fryer. I have to say I'm really impressed with your presentation style, the clear explanations, and you have a knack for answering all the questions that I've been pondering. With that in mind, the A400 will soon be arriving at my door. Thank you for making the decision easy!
Thanks for making this video - one of the most informative and candid reviews I’ve watched here on RUclips. Keep up the great work. Looking forward to watching more. I’ve liked and subscribed. 👍🏻
Came across this video as I was looking for a review on the 400 one and I have to say, this is the best review yet! I am about to get mine delivered soon and this video just reaffirmed my choice😊
This video was so helpful. Had my AF451 delivered today after worrying it would be too big. Showing the difference in size using the tape on the counter was perfect. Great video and helped me decide. Gained a subscriber. Thank you
We just bought the Af300 there is only two of us. Didn’t realise though that the tins you use wouldn’t actually fit inside drawers. I want to make crumble. I cooked a 1.6 kg chicken absolutely fine. I cut the legs and moved them down. No burning
Gah! I'm sorry I didn't point this out. I'm actually working on building a visual guide for every single air fryer which shows specific tins inside the drawers, which will hopefully help everyone (me included!) to remember what fits in what.
Hi have the 400 and after about 2 months the dial is faulty and selects the next one up or below setting , I think the heat is damaging it , so I bought the 300 , perfect not had one issue , and prefer the buttons and display close together on the 300.

@@CandidClara the cosori is on the way to my household your videos helped a lot. I am curious if it will be beneficial for me. Have you ever had concerns when eating fried food cause of acrylmid?
Really helpful review, I’m reminded of the old saying, what will hold a lot will hold a little. Even though we are just a couple we still like to have chicken and beef/ham joints etc. After watching your review I’m leaning towards the 400.
So glad it was of use! I’ve not heard that saying before, but I love it. My husband and I usually disagree over size, he always wants the bigger of anything and I like compact, but we actually agreed on this!
omg your videos are just perfect. Im so glad there are people like you on RUclips making content of this quality specially for people like me (lazy and living in the UK :D) This comparison was great, now I need to compare it with the even larger and Im ready to use my John Lewis vouchers :D
Hi C - your review on this product is really informative which is we really need on what not to buy :-) thank you C - you have done a fantastic job on reviewing this product. We do not have an airfryer yet... Merry Christmas and your family - God bless you. 🎄🎄🎄
Fantastic review. However, we are torn between the 9.5l dual zone and the 10.4l flex drawer ninja! Hoping you might have reviewed it - will search now :-)
Would have liked the 500, but realized that cleaning such a large bucket in our small-ish sink would be difficult and annoying after every use, so felt smaller dual buckets with the 400 would have to do. Ease of use has to be a priority or else I'm just not gonna wanna use the thing.
TIP: If burning the top of a large roast, or chicken etc, place a small piece of aluminum foil over the top of food. That will spread the heat over and around.
Hi Clara, i have the Ninja 400 could i use the top of the machine as a plate warmer do you think? I cannot see any reason why this would cause an issue but would value your thoughts. Thanks for the great videos.
In a wattage/power use comparison in your Combi 12 in 1 multicooker video - the AF400 came out quite high in energy consumption test - how does the AF300 compare? I presume power consumption is still relatively high when cooking small amounts, which I guess is a symptom of most large dual tray machines. Although both models look decent I am tempted towards an asymmetrical dual tray like the Philips 3000 - am I right in imagining this is more economical cooking small amounts as presumably the heater and fan size (and therefore consumption) directly align with tray sizes? I'd love to see detailed the results of economic performance comparing various differing sized models.
I have started doing the energy tests relatively recently and unfortunately no longer have the AF300 to test, but yes I would think the Philips small drawer would be the most economical option for small volumes. I’m also working on a way of sharing the information in my rather large energy spreadsheet!
That was really informative 😍 I’m still torn between the AF400 and AF 500 tho.. they’re currently the same price on Amazon UK .. and I’m sure which one I should opt for..
Your reviews are great but miss one bit of information - maybe it doesn't concern you but economics is a factor for many. I have no idea how the different sizes / basket arrangements of air fryers affect running costs. For example I would happily spend more to buy a larger air fryer for the rare occasions I will be cooking for many people - but not if it is less economic for the majority of use when I am quickly cooking single portions for myself. I would like a basket capable of taking a whole medium sized chicken, but again, not if it wastes energy cooking the small amount i usually prepare. Economics were a big selling point of air fryers - so I am surprised so few reviews make reference to it.
All my reviews now include information about running costs and you might find this video helpful which directly compares the running costs of the Ninaj AF400uk with the Philips and Cosori dual basket ruclips.net/video/qSOXh0MNf2o/видео.html

I think the best single drawer is the Cosori Turboblaze, my sister and husband have this on my recommendation and love it, but dual drawers always give you a bit more flexibility
random question, lets say i was going to cook chicken wings and fries for the family will i really get a lot more space from the ninja 10.4 flexdrawer than the ninja 9.5l dual zone max?
