Although this is still immensely impressive and amazing to watch, seeing 9 launch is just so ordinary now, yet nothing about 9 launches are ordinary at all, they are the most impressive, reliable, low cost launches ever.

9 ? The fact that you refer to it like that makes me cry myself to sleep.

I noticed the narrator said it would be a 1-3-1 landing, but only the center engine ignited. I wonder if one of the outer engines was determined not to be safe to ignite?

The flight computer determines which Profile to use. Payload was light today at just 1.6 tons. Today the entry burn used 3 engines so it was coming in a bit slower, so I guess they didn’t need to do the aggressive 1-3-1 landing.

But would it be possible to stop this incessant explaining of MaxQ at every single launch I see on RUclips?....
Those that watch, on average, already know what MaxQ is, possibly also MECO etc etc.

Never fails to impress. But I still find it hard to reconcile SpaceX's innovation, technical brilliance and phenomenal quality engineering with Elon Musk's utterly bizarre behaviour.

You dont understand him because you are like most who are not even close to his intellect (Peter Thiel is another). Normal for you and 99.99% of the rest of the human race is not normal for a polymath like Musk. He exists in a different dimension than you, and you see that as bizarre. And yet, you are still fascinated by his achievements.
