    I’ve had my Stinger GT2 for about a year and a half. So far, not a single issue. No rattles, no warranty repairs, and certainly no regrets! I can’t believe Stingers still aren’t selling better. It sucks that so many people avoid it just cause it’s a Kia. Oh well, their loss!

      @@francistaylor1822 I agree with you. But it’s also amusing what people are calling “SUVs” these days. They’re regular cars slightly raised, given a rear hatch, and a front-wheel drive biased AWD system. And they all drive and feel the same. That’s part of the reason I’m grateful for the Stinger.

    Owned my stinger for over a year and absolutely love it! Now I see why it has unbelievable ride comfort, smooth, fast. Already 16,000+ miles while possessing a company vehicle that I drive to and from work. I make up excuses to drive around the metro, ha! Also, with every new passenger I’ll engage in conversation and then ask the passenger, “how fast do you think I’m going?”. They usually guess 70-75mph, then I tell them to look and I’m usually around 105-110mph 😂

    Kia's commitment to quality, durable cars really shows. I started noticing how rattle-free and solid they felt when I would take trips overseas and get into Kia taxi cabs. This gave me confidence when I purchased my Stinger a few months ago. Since the pandemic, all I do for fun is take off and do mountain drives on the weekends. Lot's of elevation gain and mountain pass driving. The sun is more intense here in Colorado and I haven't tinted my windows yet. The interior is holding up well; I've had the Stinger for almost 4 months now and have over 8000 miles and not one single issue. Had I purchased another German car I would not have had the same issue-free experience. Kudos to Kia for their efforts in building cars that you can comfortably rely on!

    • @miatand1156
      @miatand1156 3 года назад +3

      I agree. Everyone in my family now have Kias and Hyundais. They are top notch unlike my flimsy and quality plagued mazda. I will certainly buy a Kia or perhaps a Hyundai for my next car as the ownership expirience seems as top shelf as the products they make.

    • @khronin
      @khronin 3 года назад +4

      I am at 6 months and have a little over 3k.The car is fantastic.BTW I checked out the forum and noone on there has had any major engine/turbo failures..I also take mine on a HWY drive once every few months to wring it out. Once I drove the Stinger I was stunned at how fast it was.I had just driven a SRT Charger and was pleasantly surprised that the Stinger was just as fast in a str8 line--and no wheelspin--which made the dodge hard to get off the line.The Dodge was also 12k more--half the warranty--half the MPG.Dodge would not negotiate.I have a 2020 AWD GT 3.3TT.Sticker was 43k--I was paying cash and a trade--so KIA and dealer each gave me 3k in rebates(lowered car to 36k)-and with my 10 year old trade car was 19k out the door--so I own mine.I had a 60k budget--so I was able to put almost 40k back into the bank--so I literally already have the money for my next car--which will be another stinger if nothing goes wrong.I also have a you tube video and told KIA I would put the good along with the bad on the channel--they had no problem and even gave me an all around 10 year 100k warranty on the whole car.Oil changes are 50 dollars and car should need nothing but oil changes till the 30k service.Buttons--seats are tight and quality seems on par with my Honda--which is fine by me--since my 10 year old Honda was in the same fantastic shape as the day i bought it as the day i traded it in on the KIA.

    Got a GT2 last July and 4K km later, it is a joy to drive. No rattles at all, even on rough roads or driving over the quality potholes of a Canadian city. The sports mode is both fun and gas thirsty (it’s almost as fun as driving my c6 but family can join in vs 1 pax and a kid in the trunk). The smart and comfort modes are less thirsty and the eco mode can get me about 9.5L/100km of mix driving. Drove it in slushy snow twice so far with winter tires and it handled the conditions as if it were simply wet roads. Only issue I have with it is the lack of rear visibility especially when the cameras are dirtied with winter driving and the lack of a proper manual shift mode. It’s a damn good attention getting car that performs at a level approaching a pricier model/brand and provides the usability that comes with a 4 door hatch back sedan.

    Love my Kia Stinger GT2. One thing people miss is how nice a winter car it is. It eats through the snow here in Sweden, and above all, the turbo is tested at -25 C, at that temp, you are not even supposed to start the competitors cars.. That is huge.
    Too bad they didn't want to lift the car out of the brand. It should be Stinger, sold at Stinger stores, because the brand does drive off customers. People will go for a Mustang over this, though their loss really.. :P

They have a problem with water ingress behind the lacquer which causes them to flake... Kia despite my complaints will do nothing about my problems

      Kias don't burn oil like the Toyota 2.5 liter engines do. Kia also doesn't use the stupid unreliable 9 speed ZF like Honda does. They DO offer the best warranty in the business and the car is still cheaper than the equivalent Toyota or Honda so if they stand behind the product then it's more than safe to buy and enjoy.
