Got a GT2 last July and 4K km later, it is a joy to drive. No rattles at all, even on rough roads or driving over the quality potholes of a Canadian city. The sports mode is both fun and gas thirsty (it’s almost as fun as driving my c6 but family can join in vs 1 pax and a kid in the trunk). The smart and comfort modes are less thirsty and the eco mode can get me about 9.5L/100km of mix driving. Only issue I have with it is the lack of rear visibility especially when the cameras are dirtied with winter driving and the lack of a proper manual shift mode. Crap in the snow. lol Seriously, the did hard VW fans are still resisting, how long will they hold out......I'm sat here starting to wonder if dieselgate was an act of desperation to stay ahead.....
After all this, if their cars have to be recalled for any fault, it's really difficult to comprehend
Tear track looks amazing and Kia’s attention to detail impressive.. however the diamond cut alloys on my optima 4 certainly were not subjected to such scrutiny. They have a problem with water ingress behind the lacquer which causes them to flake... Kia despite my complaints will do nothing about my problems
So don’t buy the model with the diamond cut alloys it’s a recipe for disaster!!! Anyone else had similar problem??,
We have been looking at Kia and I am just not convinced they are durable enough all together. We live outside of Detroit and the roads are terrible and I work for the domestic auto plants alot which would not permit a Kia on the site.
Kia invites him out there only to get everything wrong..... there is no diesel version and the V6 version is not 345 hp it is 365 hp..... please get your facts right. You also talk about the 7 year 100,000km warranty. But you don’t mention that any Kia vehicle with a turbo has a 7 year UNLIMITED km warranty...... please please stop doing any videos with missed information or false information..... and for those wondering yes I do know as I have the stinger GT 3.3L TT.
How is the climate control in extreme heat?
I have a 2020 and live in GA and the cooling system was great in 90 plus degree days--very strong AC
@@khronin I just took delivery of a 2021 GT1, silver over red.
@@intrinsicimagery Good choice.I am a member of a club in my state--some folks track--some mod them--some cruise--and noone is having any problems. You can also join the stinger forum. I have driven my car at the drag--and in 2 inches of rain on the road during a bad 24 hr rainstorm and the AWD and car was fantastic at both of these conditions.
An interesting insight, but I cannot warm to this presenter.
hayundai
Here in Malaysia, buying a KIA means terrible resale value and Malaysians do care a lot about it.
16 million to build the facility is a bargain, no? especially after billions spent to develop one car...
60 million.
@@e.m8879 ah alright. Still nothing compare to car development though
LOL a kia junky nasty things. its probably mitsubishi powered ..
the V6 has 365 HP, not 335! how can a "professional" journalist miss one of the most important aspects of car?
The pre-facelift version like in this video has a 335. Don't mistake your comment for the facelift GTS. Plus, do READ the description for crying out loud!
335 whp. Learn the terms. 365 is at crank. 335 at wheels.
@@vemulapallileelunitish2215 what a BS response! 335 WHP translates to 394HP!! Learn basic math before telling people they don't know the terms! Smh
@@FAT8893 I am talking about pre-facelift actually. This video is pretty recent so it is talking about the current G70. 335 cannot be whp either because as I explained to that rude guy it would be around 395hp. According to every single review and official documentations it is 365hp
@@alifarsani2469 how do you come up 395 please explain.
I bet this video is paid by KIA
They subject cars to this test so they won't break down he says... I got news for you Kia cars break down all the time
Been a long time since you've been in one then 😂 my stingers pushing 500+hp and I'm st 40k abusive miles with no issues. Less than I cna say for the 335is and infiniti q60 that I had previous. All cars break eventually 😂
On my 4th Kia. Currently have over 120k less than gentle miles on one of them. I haven't had to do anything outside of regular maintenance nor has any of them ever broken down. So I can't complain.
This didn't help their cars from blowing up

Dam why the quality is garbage lol 😆
Yet Kias pail in comparison to Toyota’s , Honda’s, and Mazda’s they still a lot of improvement to go.
They really don't
kia is one of the best reliable car now. Pls check the JD POWERS brand new cars reliability from the past years and you will be surprise by kia standing in reliability. I also proved that when a bought the kia rio ... my reliability experience with the kia rio is very good. Almost zero problems in my 5 years of driving of this car.
Kias don't burn oil like the Toyota 2.5 liter engines do. Kia also doesn't use the stupid unreliable 9 speed ZF like Honda does. They DO offer the best warranty in the business and the car is still cheaper than the equivalent Toyota or Honda so if they stand behind the product then it's more than safe to buy and enjoy.
KIA garbage. Can't handle Vegas.
Overpriced low quality car.
Nah mate. Go test drive one. I bought the 3.3 TT stinger after test driving many BMWs and Audis. The Stinger is the better car at half the price.
Marco Lucchini Agreed! He must have not drove one. Just saying that from pictures... well pictures don’t do justice!
Overrated low quality comment. Stingers are great, I love my GT2!
@@St1ngerGuy those guys making those comments are the ones who buy BMW's and are now scared that this cheap and better alternative is available. I think they are called 'Badge SNOBS'
Marco Lucchini Not going say the Stinger is a better car but definitely agree that both the Stinger and G70 are much better value.
