Description Fixing:
"The invasion of British Malaya is underway and the Japanese force are winning. To support the British forces still fighting there. The British Admiralty has sent "Force Z" consisting of 2 Battleships and an escort as well as an Aircraft Carrier to protect them. However, Force Z are sailing within range of Japanese Air Field and the squadron of bombers are taken off to exploit this oppotunity."
Mission Objectives
1. Sink HMS The Prince of Wales and HMS Repulse.
Secondary Objective
1. Sink HMS Hermes.

Man this is unreal...in real life they sailed without an escort carrier so you had to worry about fighters and aa

if you say Japanese side, then that was based on the disposition and location of those ships that were sent to make a landing and beachhead for assisting while having to leave the original main forces.
if you say that the British side, they even do not have a carrier ready or nearby in their operational area, plus, the British had to attack Japanese landing forces and their convoy to prevent further reinforcement and resupply.
So, get honestly, it's not a sending battleship against aircraft, But it's used for an attempt to destroy any beachhead or any invasion forces on purpose.
