- While not the biggest of spenders in free agency through the first week, the Seahawks have been smart with their spending and looking to add value in their signings. That continued today with the addition of Tyrel Dodson, a free agent linebacker the Seahawks stole from the Buffalo Bills. Dodson was rated the top inside linebacker by PFF last year and it shows on tape. He is still very young, and will add a good overall skillset the Seahawks defense.

I disagree. I think they've made quite a few big splashes. I love the moves that they have made and this one is no exception. I think if you take a look at what they're doing, they're not looking for the best player on the field. They're looking for the best player to fit what they will be doing and allow that to be the catalyst to the players success. Two thumbs way up. 👍👍

Sounds like a basketball style sense of zone, which does translate very well. I never got why safeties and LBs would leave WAY too early from their zone.

I wouldnt mind chop Robinson at 16 he ran a 4.48 at the combine and the fastest 10 yard split at 1.54 by a player over 250 pounds

He’s a 4-3 OLBer though correct? I’m increasingly wondering what scheme we are predominantly going to be running and how our edge rushers who are 3-4 rush LBers and too small to be true DEs are going to hold up or what we’re going to be doing with Nwosu and Mafe. I mean you don’t exactly have to pick 3-4 or 4-3 one or the other in the modern NFL, but having weird pieces from both is a little…odd? Concerning depending on how much of this is just shooting from the hip and hoping?

So I did a draft taking account of the howell selection. I think it's mistake because he below average but I went based off of BPA and knowing Schneider always has position filled before the draft. I traded back 4 times in the first two rounds.

Now the draft fell this way and MPJ was truly the BPA and I traded back 2 times to avoid picking him. I think Schneider may copy 2012 and if MPJ is available he will take it. Colson, Ruke, Bullard was the same as BPA..all the picks were BPA and if the draft fell that way I am satisfied with the whole offseason. I still feel Schneider will draft a qb but if its not the right one he won't select him. What you think??

A fine FA week. Gr8 value - gr8 futute potential in new young boys & cheap. Maths Profs are happy. Sam's a 7th rd trade per Fitz formula by B.Condotta . 12s who doubt it = mathematically challenged. As per UK profs, day 2 is thin in this draft. Best Value is in day 1 picks 1 to 11 = good & (picks 12 to 21 are OK) & day 3 are best (KJ Wright was a 4th & Tom Brady 6th). So Gr8 trade baby.
Those profs said Adams Diggs Jones Myers & Uchenna pay rises were too expensive & injury prone - Nino & Jamal just got cut. Uchenna & Jones & Myers will be traded away asap as some guys don’t make big plays after getting paid (it happens a lot in NFL). Myers missed 2 makeable kicks that turned a 10-7 (PO season) into a 8-9 (get Pete sacked season).
Sam H is an NFL battle tested QB younger than Bo Nix & Penix.
He played well at rainy windy cold Lumen last yr. V v cheap for next 2 yrs.
Trade is worth a 7th rd as per Bob Condotta - it's been a fine FA 4 the 12s - well done JS.
JS also got PFF's #1 ranked LB from Bills & will take a top rook in 1st rd.
