My Dad never complained about anything - he was happy with his life. But even he, after Mum passed away, said that he never realised how much Mum did as a stay at home wife and mother until she was gone. My Dad, took me for my school entrance exams, And my Mom and brothers dropped me off for School..Eventually I got my own car and job. Brought myself to School, and work. And i helped younger family get to school and Doctor appointments. This Dad is selfish

My father, from whom I had been estranged until he reached out to me when I was 21, and then we never became close although I tried to forgive him for abandoning me as a baby, called me several years later as he lay dying of cancer in a hospital bed, trying again to "make amends". He also had the audacity to ask for my help with paying for his medical bills. I refused to speak to him again, but I did send him a strongly worded letter telling him, among other things, that I grieved only for the fact that I could not grieve for a father I never knew and I would not grieve for a stranger who chose to meet me only when it was convenient for him. When he died, I felt no sadness, only emptiness for all the chances he had to try to be a decent father and failed.
He didn't give a damn about his wife or child... they absolutely didn't need him.. how either was able to last decades with him is astonishing. he did the bare minimum as a father and husband and expected them to be there for him in his time of need.. even though he was NEVER there for either of them. He's on a different level of doucheism, he tried to sabotage his own daughter's future.. if she was depending on him, she would've missed her exams. His wife is better than me. My grandpa was in a band and he fell in love with my grandma, his band were going places but papa decided he'll marry grandma building a life with her, he moved all around the states for work and met some famous people in his youth at bars. Yes some men think, what if i did this or not that? My fiancé doesn’t drive when she was old enough to learn Uber was already pretty prevalent so she never learned, I’ve even paid for a driving course
