Ah, man, right when I made an approximation using the other gauntlets templates! 😅 Awesome work as usual and I'm glad to know there's gonna be a better template for me to use next time I make them as a result.
Boba Fett Jetpack is on my to do list already, but I don't know I'll be able to make it! That being said Mando's Jetpack I made is very similar... If you put the exhaust pipes on the sides instead of at the bottom and if you can manage to add the rocket on the top, you'll have pretty much a Boba Fett one :)

@@mr.wolf-apex8379 I use the thickness that is mentioned on the templates, usually it goes from 0,1 mm to 0,5 mm. But of course if you don't have a 0,5 mm thick cardboard for instance, you can double the pieces using 0,2 mm cardboard, it should work just fine :)

Decided to make one of these for my kid for christmas, didnt want to splash money on foam or thousands on a true helmet. Bought a crappy helmet online and its horrible, so this video has literally saved my kids christmas. Thanks for this tutorial. That's so cool Brayden! Glad I could help! Well cardboard is not a good material when it comes to that part unfortunately... so you have to be aware that painting it is gonna make all the imperfections much more visible, (That's the reason why I don't paint them), that being said I'm quite demanding with my props, maybe too much lol. But if you want to paint it I recommend you to use acrylic paint as it is a thick and opaque type of paint as opposed to water based paint that will soak the cardboard leading to very poor result 😉

Amazing... this was Boba Fett's gauntlets..... this is the Return of the Jedi one..... The Empire Strikes Back one is different in details the flamethrower box on the left gauntlet and the hose attachment on the right gauntlet Surprisingly.... The Book of Boba Fett version of the gauntlet had been redesigned... with a vague resemblance on the Return of the Jedi version....

Well it has to be the same thickness anyway, but if you see in the tutorial that I don't use the separation wall in the middle for some of the part (for instance when I remove the first wall on some areas to make some designs...) then yes you can use a single wall cardboard. But as I said it as to be the same thickness as the double wall one, the thickness of the cardboard always plays a very important role in my builds!

Hi. I bought the template but on the left gauntlet I am having trouble cutting the small circles on piece 15. I was wondering if you had any tips to help. I have been using a standard boxcutter but i can buy an x-acto knife if i need to.
The trick to cut very small pieces is to use a VERY sharp tool, a precision knife with a brand new blade should do the job fine. You can also use a circle cutter, if you want circle that are even better, but it won't work for the tiny ones like 0,5 mm or something thought.
They are pretty spacious, but feel free to adjust the inside if they are a bit too large for you by narrowing the inside with a few pieces of cardboard, you can also just print the templates at a different scale to make these gauntlet bigger or smaller according to your needs. :)

Hey boss, Thanks for all your videos! Question for you... If I were to paint the things I have made would I want to do it before or after I sealed the work? I have seen different options and opinions. Seems the current best standing option is Spray Paint after sealing. Wanted to know your thoughts.
Well I'm not sure I'm the right person to answer that question Ryan! As you probably saw I never paint my props! lol For me cardboard alone (without modeling past and such) is not a good fit for a paint job.

Thanks for supporting me and my work all this time Hoang! It means a lot for me. About the Eye of agamotto I still have to take things in consideration. Making a choice to make a new prop as a RUclipsr is a very complicated thing, I have to take into account many different things for me to be able to make a props that most of my subscribers want to see. Sometimes even when they aren't aware about it lol plus I only have to hands. That being said I'm not saying that I won't make this. But If I do it may take me quite some time.
This is so cool! I hope to see the rest of the armor soon. Quick question, is there any way to paint the armor making it look soft? I thought about covering all the parts with modeling paste, then painting and spraying with transparent varnish, would it work?
I made the rest of the armor already Mateo! :) You'll find the tutorials on my channel too. About the painting, you get that 100% right! Using modeling past and transparent varnish is the way to go to paint most of my props, I would do it that way myself (I mean if it was more aligned with the topic of my channel...)

Well I'm not sure I'm the right person to answer that question Ryan! As you probably saw I never paint my props! lol For me cardboard alone (without modeling past and such) is not a good fit for a paint job.

Thanks for supporting me and my work all this time Hoang! It means a lot for me. About the Eye of agamotto I still have to take things in consideration. Making a choice to make a new prop as a RUclipsr is a very complicated thing, I have to take into account many different things for me to be able to make a props that most of my subscribers want to see. Sometimes even when they aren't aware about it lol plus I only have to hands. That being said I'm not saying that I won't make this. But If I do it may take me quite some time.

This is so cool! I hope to see the rest of the armor soon. Quick question, is there any way to paint the armor making it look soft? I thought about covering all the parts with modeling paste, then painting and spraying with transparent varnish, would it work?
I made the rest of the armor already Mateo! :) You'll find the tutorials on my channel too.
About the painting, you get that 100% right! Using modeling past and transparent varnish is the way to go to paint most of my props, I would do it that way myself (I mean if it was more aligned with the topic of my channel...)
