Another feast-for-the-eyes-and-ears podcast! Thank you for sharing your magnificent footage of the exquisite Greenbrier. What a jewel box of a place! The colors and patterns reminded me of a pop-up book of a fairy castle that I had as a child. Amazing combo of effusive color and thematic design. How special to experience it as a three-generation trip! I love how you all dress up and celebrate elegance and sensory delight. The lilac yarn of Maia’s Tiril sweater is gorgeous and I am so glad the dryer experiment worked. The L&K “Il Mare” color is so sumptuous and will look gorgeous on you. The Haydn Sonata in C major was a delightful ending and accompaniment to the joyful footage. And, I loved that little boy who stood so attentively next to the pianist and then said, “I’ll be right back.” ❤❤❤😊😊😊
What a lovely trip you arranged for your sweet daughter. I fully agree that the experiences, travel and time spent with family, are where life's most precious memories occur. If someone asked me what my birthday gifts were over the years, I couldn't tell them. But if they asked my favorite times with family, there would be a long list! ---- I wanted also to offer an update on my shawl design. "Summer in Spoleto." The Fibre Co, whose Luma yarn I designed in, is going to feature the pattern next May! I am so honored by their support, and have been told they will offer kits. So, the official Ravelry release date will be next May 1st. I'm planning on a photo shoot in Spoleto, in the coming month. So excited! Many, many thanks to you for your wonderful shout-out about it, and your ever inspiring podcast!
Celebrations are more about the people and the experiences, rather than the material things- and making memories you will have forever……...wonderful insight. What an amazing trip. Thanks for sharing it with your viewers…Happy Birthday Maya🎉🎉🎉🎉 … living in New York my color combinations are sapphire blue and cream, but in Florida colors are lighter (hotter weather) so I love coral and cream, teal and light gray, and white is always in fashion. Always a fun podcast. Thanks for sharing!
What a wonderful trip. It’s such a fabulous hotel with all of that color! Lately I’m loving pink and red or burgundy, orange and pink, so many pairings with orange. I also really love your Tibi blue with that camel. I can’t choose a favorite!
I really enjoyed hearing about your Greenbrier trip. What a lovely and memorable way to celebrate. Those memories will last a lifetime. It’s so hard to come up with two colors! Last summer I knit a classic navy and cream striped pullover. I had enough yarn to make another and plan to add a touch of red. Love it. I’m also kicking myself for not buying a combination of Shibui yarn to make a simple tee in purple/lavender (col. Majesty?) with a touch of Apple green at the cuffs or neck. That combo was perfection. Tough to narrow it down! ❤
Loved hearing about the hotel/spa trip! The best that its was a 3 generation getaway! I am really loving pinks and corals together lately. I have knit so many gray sweaters I crave color now:)
Another fantastic podcast. Loved hearing about your clothes dryer adventures. Lol I think that a Grey/Lavender with Hunter green would be a nice combo for colors.
The Greenbriar! 💖haven’t been in years but it is and will always be one of my favorite experiences! How special with your mom and your daughter! 🙏❤️🥳thanks for sharing Margaret! Besides ecru and cream I love navy and white. ☺️😍
The colors of the hotel are so pretty, really interesting color combos. My favorite color combo is mint with a dark brown, but the mint with peach in the bath area is also really beautiful.
Yay Maya (not sure if that’s the right spelling?) happy 20th Sweater looks so soft and lovely. Very brave putting in the dryer, it’s something I would do 💪🏻 Bottom up is so hard! I’m doing a test knit at the moment that is bottom up and I am a top down girl, I’m bit of a control freak, I love surprises but not in my knitting 😣 I’ve just bought some cashmere on cones from Colourmart an in the care instructions they tell you it can take a lot of punishment. They tell you to wash it and if you want throw it in the dryer with some towels on low heat, it will fluff up so there you go 🫣😬 Picking up stitches for the left shoulder - with the work facing you RS it would be on the left-hand side. So start the center neck and work out towards the edge/side. Colour is dreamy. Experiences are so special and the memories you will have, how lovely for the three of you. A 20th to remember. Thanks for the fun, Karen 🥰😘
I loved learning about the bees. I kept bees for a short time and it was fascinating. Although I never felt entirely at ease, many people do including my husband. Colors right now for me are bright coral and blue
OMG, such an amazing place you stayed, thank you for sharing. I already left a comment in the previous video, but here it is again :) I'm more of a dark grey and black, but for my son I'm loving dark green and mustard! All the best!!
Yes you are right where you pick up for the shoulder on sweater no 14. I love mine in Nutiden Mening and silk mohair. I agree it does take a while to get use to using Nutiden but I’m so use to it now I often just pull from the middle of the plate and knit. I love the Tiril it’s a beautiful colour too 💜
I had a sweater knit with superwash yarn that grew a lot when I blocked it. I put it in the dryer while it was damp and it went back to the original size before blocking. The nutiden yarn is gorgeous!
Love your prodcast, u are very inspiring. Hope that your channel will grow a lot! As a color combo is hard to decide, right now I would go with orange and some peach color, I have some puke soho linen quil and planning to make some striped sweater.

Thank you for sharing your hotel trip, it looked amazing. I love colour but my favourite is a classic navy and white. It always looks so fresh.
Lovely! I enjoyed the Greenbrier!

I just saw a pink and yellow marled together in a sweater and just have to make on in the same combination!!! So fun!
Cinnamon/rust and honey is a combination I love. Nutiden yarn is lovely.
My favorite color combinations…pink and grey lately, and sunshine yellow and mauve. All the rainbow colors these days too…
China blue and white is an old standby favorite. Burnt sienna and beige tan is color of my new Verano sweater I’m knitting and I like that a lot.
I had a sweater knit with superwash yarn that grew a lot when I blocked it. I put it in the dryer while it was damp and it went back to the original size before blocking. The nutiden yarn is gorgeous!
I am adding another color combo that I like in addition to the one I put in last week. I love navy and chartreuse together.
thank you for this giveaway :) i love the combination of teal and grey, currently making shorts with those colors :)

I love pink and white together.
My favorite color combination is pink and gray.
I think a turquoise and tan that reminds me of the ocean 🌊 thanks for the giveaway
I’ve been hoarding Nutiden as well, kinda afraid to use it. I was going to make a Saturday Shrug with it in a navy and burnt orange combo.
I want to try the hot pink and orange combo I’ve seem lately!
Want I try yellow and orange ❤
