The razor is part of the haircut because it takes out extra hair around the edges that the scissors or electric razor left out, making the outer fades look clean and well defined.
David looking good with that new haircut. I think it’s the local neighborhood barbershop in the 🇵🇭 that are real cheap! The cheapest I’ve paid for my haircut was 99 pesos. Unfortunately when I came back the lady guy who did my hair was no longer there. Have a blessed weekend
Back in 2019 before the pandemic hits the Philippines, the haircut in the Philippines cost only 50 pesos or atleast 1.36 australian dollars. Its very cheap and affordable. Especially the foods here are very cheap. So that's why some of the tourists were very shocked.
Hi David and Sarah, it is amazing that they can charge so little for a haircut in the Philippines and still making a living. The Filipino people are so humble and accommodating. That was very clever to have both a front view mirror as well as a view from behind. The cheapest haircut that I had in the United States was $9.00.
Hair cut in Philippines are a lot cheaper compared here in Australia.but it's all depend.if you go to other Classy hairdresser over there with Air-conditioning/Clean surround and all equipment yea it will cost you more.❤🇵🇭
Enjoy your stay in the Philippines 🇵🇭 guys. Ber months is almost coming soon. I hope you can experience how Filipinos celebrate Christmas and New Year.
Fiilipinos can understand and speak English enough to go by its the Australian accent that is the barrier, it is hard for us unlike American or British accents.we are quite more familiar That is really cheap considering his salon with airconditioning, good equipments, the space he is probably testing.
Meanwhile Brandon just paid $94 for his cut...... The locals seems so beautiful and friendly😀 It seems like you guys are really settling into your life/travels here - cant wait for you next adventures!
THE FILIPINOS IN THIS COMMENT SECTION ARE GIVING YOU SO MUCH PRAISE LIKE A CELEBRITY LMFAO. YOU SHOULD TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THAT GUYS! YOU'LL BE FAMOUS IN THE COUNTRY IN NO TIME HAHAHAHA
Heres the important Tip about the Foreigner here in the Philippines. You Should study how to speak in TAGALOG even just a little bit important words. Because its useful against the Language Barrier. If you know how to speak tagalog it was easy to communicate with locals even in a different Dialects. Beacuse our main language is Tagalog.🤩🇵🇭👍
that would defeat the purpose of being a foreigner in the philippines. filipinos are hospitable people, right? so they should adjust to accomodate these foreigners and these foreigners should be able to retain their sense of entitlement because again, filipinos are hospitable people :))
there's no way haircut in australia costs $70 australian. you're over exaggerating things. we all know that most countries in asian have cheap consumer products so this is not really something surprising. i live in the US and I can get a haircut for only $10.
We're Australian so know the prices of haircuts in Australia lol. You might be able to get a cheaper haircut & beard trim SOMEWHERE in Australia but it's very rare. Most places charge between $60- $70 AUD for a classic cut (like David had in the video) and a beard trim. Good for you that it's that affordable in the states! That's great.

love it!
nice! you look sharp David! 🤩
haha thanks so much Michael!
