1992 Gotcha prank from Noel Edmonds where Nicholas Parsons is picked up for an appointment and ends up in a car test drive... #NoelEdmonds #Gotcha #NicolasParsons
Great Gotcha, the simpler ones were far funnier than the overly elaborate ones. Just a nice quick stitch up. But I have to say I don't like the manner with which Nicholas Parsons speaks to that taxi driver. Very pompous and curt.
Not really he was stressed out as he was afraid of being late for an engagement and he was an old school professional. Now people don’t give a fuck if they are late but I was always told to get somewhere early and be punctual. If people are late for meetings with me and have no good reason or apology i get annoyed. He kept his cool very well with the driver and only snapped after several minutes of provocation from Edmonds and even then he didn’t totally lose the plot.
RIP Nicholas Parsons, always loved this Gotcha!
R.I.P. Nicholas Parsons 1923 - 2020. I'll miss you!
Old school doesn't like being late, no wonder he was annoyed.
Without Hesitation, Repetition or Deviation R. I. P
If this is a crisis I’d hate to think how he reacted to anything important.
Don't know why anyone was surprised by Parsons demeanour.
Just heard the news. R.I.P. Nicolas Parsons. Aged 96
Yea seemed a lovely old boy: proper old school always immaculately dressed and well spoken.
don't blame him for being peeved, so would i be. just because u r a celebrity doesn't mean you have to be happy and polite all the time.
He was pretty gentlemanlike all through. Why did he climb out of the front seat and not the back though?
@@mattbod i've just had to watch it again after a year to find out, that's 7 mins of my life you owe me. no idea lol
Understand your are late, but he was incredible rude to everyone he met from that start.
The acceleration from static on a Granada 2.0 i Ghia was crap especially the auto as my dad had one lol. You needed the 2.9 v6.
To be fair I think he was a bit pissed off at being late from the off but I never understand why agents can sort out these things from over the phone
P J think he meant he was going to explain he will be late
I wonder if Mr Jolly had anything to do with this?
P.S why climb out front passenger door from back not the rear doors?

Lol it could have been an ambush
Why is Noel wearing Alan Partridge’s clothes?
Parsons comes across as quite arrogant, I was expecting him to threaten the fake police officer.
all this ' Do you know who I am' stuff
