I have driven the 2022 Toyota RAV4 and all I have to say is that it's a pretty impressive ride. Good in gas, (14.5 US GALLON) fuel tank capacity. The 203 horsepower engine runs good. It also has enough space. I did not like the RAV4 in the past but this year TOYOTA did an awesome job!
I picked the 2022 RAV4 hybrid over the KIA Sportage 2023 and Hyundai Tucson hybrids because I knew it was more reliable and would last longer. It didn't have the best cabin or technology as it rivals, but the reliability can't be beat. Toyota has been doing this for years and has worked most of the problems.
My new 2020 Rav4 XSE hybrid was assembled in Woodstock Ontario in August 2020 and the quality is second to none. Just love it. I may trade it in for a new 2024, I really like some of the little changes they've made since I purchased mine especially the much larger infotainment screen....... hopefully I can get a nice red Limited hybrid. 😍😍😍
Did you end up getting the new 2024 model? I'm looking at getting a Toyota RAV4 Plug-in hybrid, but hope to see a new design for 2026 unveiled at the L.A. Auto show in November 2024.
I have RAV4 2018 runs great with 90,000+ miles change oil every 5,000 miles. Stop by to see the production plant. Thanks for the tour and the narrative...
I only buy vehicles built in Canada. And when most US manufacturers were scaling back in Canada and sending lines to Mexico Toyota was investing. So I've stayed committed to Toyota because they were committed to Canada. Not going to lie though, as great and reliable as my corolla's were, was super excited to switch to the new Canadian built Rav4 in 2019. Absolutely love it. Hope they're still running that line when I buy my next one.
I’ve had a wide range of Toyota vehicles throughout my 35 yrs of life, Tacomas, Matrix, Avalon, Sienna, and now my low mile 2018 Rave4 Le! I absolutely love Toyota and wish we had a manufacturing plant in SE Wisconsin.
Just reserved a loaded up xle, tried a very low mile 21 out and for the price decided to just wait for exactly the package we wanted. Used rav4 are still selling at 98% original msrp or even more
Best selling car in he world is Toyota... I can't wait to be part of the Toyota Factory for shear my little knowledge I just can't stop Loving Toyota RAV4
Thanks for this very informative and instructive video. My 2022 Toyota RAV4 Adventure Hybrid arrives in a few weeks time. It will be assembled in Japan, where quality will be 2nd to none. NZ
We took a tour of the Cambridge Plant in February, where RAV4 and Lexus NX are built on the same assembly line. This was interesting to watch build two different cars one behind the other. If the 11th digit of your VIN is a W, it was made in Woodstock. C is made Cambridge. The tour is free, but often booked in advance.
i am very satisfied with toyoto in fact i own a toyoto limited and i like them so mundh i just put mt money doen on a rave4hybred limited in a ruby red pearl
While Toyotas have a commendable record of quality, our early 2000 Camry was one built during a period of rapid production expansion, and their Quality Control did not keep up with their production. At about 160,000-km the head bolts pulled out of the engine block. As soon as I rolled in, the Service Manager immediately diagnosed the problem, as his Camry had the exact same problem... $2,400.00 later new head bolt threads were machined into the block, and new head bolts installed... At 200,000-km the transmission failed, and this was after a transmission flush at the 160,000-km service and regular dealer maintenance more frequently than recommended throughout the car's history... Of course Toyoda did nothing to cover these repair costs... It was clear our car was properly maintained and well looked-after, and that the failure was due to an inherent flaw with the engine block...
I like the Toyota RAV4 Hydra all wheel drive HP goose all Wheel Dr., Toyota makes the best my first Toyota I had up for 10 years and when I came, I’m gonna have the red for sitting in my driveway
Russian plant is no more. September 23, 2022 Toyota Motor Corp. decided to cease vehicle production permanently at its lone car plant in Russia, a rare move for a company that is still manufacturing at sites in Japan dating back to its founding in the 1930s.
it's required by law to have that back up noise. Before my new Rav4 hybrid I had a 2018 Honda Insight and it made the same exact backup sound. I don't know what everyone is complaining about, I rather like the sound & it does warn others around you even if they can't here your engine in EV mode when you're backing up.
Does Toyota still produce RAV4's and Camrys in Russia since Russia attacked the Ukraine? I thought many companies from western nations stopped dealing with Russia and shut down their manufacturing in Russia?
@@BetterSmartTech0813 I had one of the cheap Korean cars before my new Rav4. It was great for a couple years & then the parts deteriorated very fast and I'm a very careful driver. Only Toyota or Honda for me.

Toyota more reliable that only thing it matter reliable
Toyota is cream of the crop, not the flashiest but definitely reliable and hold value. If you buy new your almost never going to be upside down in it.
I love my RAV-4 2022. My car was build in Canada and the man power is sensationnel and the quality as far as I am concerned is perfect.

2020 rav4 leaking from the roof racks. Took it in for new racks and gaskets. Hopefully that fixes it.
