Start a new file, (Part or Assembly), then click on the applicable View Cube face on the top right corner of the screen to orient the blank Part/Assembly to the way you want it to be facing top down. Click the view cube's drop-down menu and select "Set as Top". Do the same to orient your "home" position, either with the view cube corner or another custom position. Drop-down -> set as Home. Save As Template. (maybe I should make a 10 minute video to explain this?)
I was expecting to be shown how to reset or adjust the YZ +X axis. Not create a new ASSY for one. Is there a method for adjusting this within the current ASSY?
