She has just beaten Swiatek twice the World No 1. In the final against at Indian Wells 2023 against her new nemesis Sabalenka. Coach is only guilty of being too passionate about his charge and certainly not a bully from what I can see. They have trust in each other I think.
Pam Shriver was hating on him in AO final commentary. She said he was abusive and people don’t like the way he treats her. I don’t see any of that here!
This guy would give me a nervous breakdown.
Did anyone notice that she almost spit out her water laughing when he said, “Don’t talk Jesus Christ”. Clearly, they understand each other. This is a positive relationship. He’s coaching her through her blind spots.
Watching this, I can't believe some of the loud-mouth retired women tennis players were trying to insigate a breakup between these two. That was some of the best bedside manner I have seen from a coach. And Rybakina is just ethereal. Good for them, both. It is working.
Stop taking the Lord’s name in vain.✝️

Anyone complaining about this guy is just stupid. Elena hired this guy and she’s happy with his coaching. And I can see why. He’s passionate!

The thing is as an introvert she can sometime be too anallytic on herself and put herself down when things don t go her ways,he s here too keep her positive and don t overthink too much.I t s a good combo their two personalities.

when i first saw him i thought man hes too hard on her but now i understand thats exactly what she needs .. she dont need a coach to calm her down she needs the opposite as she dont have alot of emotions he gives her the fire she needs .. great chemistry aswell and rn you can see it pays off 👏👏
I study rybakina and her coach is god level everything he is telling elena is spot on especially about her movement and pressuring on return when up on points
Notice one very important thing...
I think they have good chemistry. It would be very interesting to see if the advice made a noticeable difference though.
