    I suggest greatly that you separate maybe 2 of the 3 keikis and let only one because that would function as the main stem of the plant. If you separate all three, they would take a long time until they bloom and if you keep the mother plant attached to one, it would grow faster and it will bloom faster.

    Hi Danny, I have an Oncidium I bought from Amazon last year and she is doing good. I just need to keep up with watering as she has a few accordion like leaves due to not watering her on schedule.

    That was such a good surgery trying to cut the keiki! Looking forward to see it grow and bloom. Do you let the media get quite dry between waterings? Thanks for sharing.

    I thought you were using wicks for DIY self watering pots with moss/bark? Are you not using them anymore? I'm getting confused.

    Question... do you have access to weather radar, like what BoM provides here in Australia? We can actually access our local radar or any other radar in the country so we can follow any possible storms. I am wondering if there is something like that there, so you can prepare your plants in advance.
    This is my closest radar station
    www.bom.gov.au/products/IDR734.loop.shtml#skip
    ...by "mousing" over the locations with the coloured numbers you get weather station data on the right
    and each radar allows a level of "zoom in" and "zoom out" possibilities, so one can make their own assessment of the situation.
    All warnings for the particular are given towards the top of the page under "View the current warnings for Queensland".

    Hi Danny. If... if my phals can talk... they'd probably say "touch my roots, you're dead", of course the operative word be "I" rather than "you're" . That being said my phals here in this side of the world, around NYC, seems to be fairing best with leca when individuals that don't decide to take a dive. Once in leca the roots are more resilient to repotting and accidents. Good luck with your Angraecum. Hmmm angrae, hangrae 🙈 angrae.

    Hi Danny, I want to purchase miltoniopsis, I live in a hot climate place. I saw your video to care miltoniopsis in warm climate. My question is will this orchid do well if there is hot climate with humidity between 50 to 80%.

    • @MissOrchidGirl
      @MissOrchidGirl  5 лет назад +1

      Hi, I would skip Miltoniopsis really and stick to hot growing orchids for now. I think it's better to have more experience with orchids first, but if you really want to you can try with one or two. It won't be an easy adventure though :)

      i noticed too but it's the ones with canes that she usually calles he and the ones with pseudobulbs or phals that she calles she. i think it makes perfect sense lol ^^
