For the 4820, if you can't get the scanner lid up. There is a small rectangular release on the lower right hand side of the scanner face.

so you couldn't get the paper tray back in easily either 😆 That's what I came here to check. It's not in the instructions, but there is a small blue tab at the front right of the tray that you need to pinch to get the tray to seat all the way back into the printer.

For what’s it’s worth after about a year the Wi-Fi won’t stayed connected to my Mac tried it all Wi-Fi on these is week, common issue with many people
I don't have any interest in setting the printer up via a cell phone, but will just use a desktop plus a printer cable
