STMLT is my everyday music right now. Their first EP titled STMLT contains 5 awesome songs and 1 cool instrumental jamming song that displays the skill of each instrumentalist.
If there is a weak spot in Japanese music, it is the vocals. There are some fantastic vocalists like Regan, Akane, Mayu, Saiki, Asami, Fuki, and Remi. But many others squeak like a cartoon mouse. I like the variety that the rap sections bring. I know a lot of people have a great distaste for hip-hop (which I completely understand). But rap CAN be done well. Dimrays, Nemophila, and Hanabie have all figured out how to make rap sound good.
East of Eden is comprised of Ayasa from Morfonica on Violin, Yuki from D_Drive on Guitar, Wakazaemon on Bass, Minato Akane, formerly of Predia, ARCVDIA and Mochi to Cheese, which also counted Akane and Kanami from Band-Maid among it's members, on Vocals, and Mizuki from Lonesome_Blue on Drums. Ayasa also appeared on Lonesome_Blue's song Parallel World off their EP First Utterance.✌️❤️🤘
I was surprised to hear a Saxaphone in the one by STMLT . Unfortunately, she is already out of the band. I will continue to follow them. I like the other elements.
That's a damn shame. As I loved the appearance of the Sax in the song/MV alongside the drum work and the keyboardist's growls. She look a little like Hettsu from Hanabie.
Wakazaemon on the bass. All you need is to just follow her amazing bass and it will lead you through the song with all the other instruments joining in for plenty of highlights. The lead singer Akane live is also a real highlight for me.All I have to say is JAPAN! Just stop it. Just stop it OK. You are starting to really show off a bit. LOL. Its the music wonderverse right now.
@2:29 the riffs sounds like the song Reject from Silent Hell

Evidently, I now have to be obsessed with STMLT! 🤘😍
Mizuki 🥁 is with Lonesome_Blue. Haven't been this excited about a new band since Rolling Quartz.

Ive absolutely fallen in love with Dimrays in the last month. I somehow ended up hearing 'Fr' and was in immediately, love their sound.
Is twilight new

Wakazaemon is the bassist of East of Eden. She also works with Marty Friedman former guitarist of Megadeth

Btw, STMLT in Japanese translates to Stimulates. STMLT/ステミレイツ
ス(su)テ(te)ミ(mi)レ(re)イ(i)ツ(tsu)
East Of Eden is amazing. I haven’t loved a band this much since I discovered BAND-MAID
Twilight is the name of the song
