Those grey joints could easily been done in blue and red. It could have been a mini masterpiece. But they cheaped out. So close to being perfect.

Fantastic review chefatron!! I hope that Hasbro/Takara Tomy create the remaining Mini-bots in deluxe class size really soon. They only need to design new head and chest pieces for SS86 Brawn and Legacy United Gears to make deluxe class Outback and Swerve, which only leaves Windcharger/Tailgate, Powerglide, and Seaspray to design new molds. lol Keep on being amazing.

He's pretty satisfying. Not crazy about the chest plate going on the back of the vehicle mode, but I guess if you look at that as the "front" and have the tires all folded up it really is "Cybertronian". Hope we see him made into Swerve soon, Brawn into Outback, then get Powerglide, Seaspray, Windcharger (and Tailgate) updates soon.

Then they first showed scout class size deluxes for WFC I was very meh about it. But this and TFA Bee have been well worth the deluxe price. I can't wait for Swerve.

Legacy G1 Gears he looks match in the cartoon appearance and looks like Masterpiece toyline i like this. You got a 10/10 an another epic win review.

These microbot remakes are coming out great. So far, Gears is tied with Beachcomber for my favorite. I really really hope that a Power Glide is coming soon though!

I can also see that we get a few mini bots which is mold mates in the Legacy Selects sub line. I think I got Hubcap in Generations Selects. And it is till one of my favorite minibots.

And don't forget about Outback. But yeah, I think this figure is fantastic. His transformation was so simplistic and fun that I transformed him several times. Reminds me of not only SS86 Brawn but also the Sideswipe mold.

Just like Beachcomber, another minibot I’ll most likely miss out because of Hasbro’s horrible distribution and lack of production of the product.
oh I'm sorry to hear that man... perhaps try getting them from online shops or from your local hobby shops that can import directly from hasbro distributors...
You didn't transform him into the Cybertronian hover mode.

@chefatron Mark, the Hasbro designer, released the pictures. It's not in the instructions. You flip all 4 wheels in like Back to the Future 2. You can also use the core class Soundwave/Soundblaster cassettes as the personality disk for display.
