Both girls have fantastic voices but Agnetha is truly special imo. Perfect production, fantastic melodies, good songwriting and perfect vocals. Thats ABBA, I dont know how anyone could ever dislike them
And money money money that showcases the wonderful Fridas voice along with I have a dream, waterloo, Name of the Game, Fernando, etc. People act like Agnetha was the only singer
You have so far to go on your ABBA journey. My favorite ABBA song is The Day Before You Came, the last song they recorded as a group in 1982 before 2021's Voyage.
The thing about ABBA is, they were so talented and disciplined, but they always made it look fun and effortless. Agnetha takes that to the next level in this video, on the line "No-one to hear my prayer". She belts out that big note at the end and holds it, while casually standing with her hands in her pockets like it's no big deal!
You do realise they were miming to the recorded track to make this video. I could stand there with my hands in my pocket and mime along to it and act like it is no big deal, because it wouldn’t be. I love this song, my second favourite ABBA song (first is Super Trouper, always)
@@lounolastname4477 C'mon, you guys may have given the world the English language, the Industrial Revolution, the Theory of Evolution and the Top 3 greatest rock bands of all time, but... I'm an Aussie, so I won't let you claim "fun" as well!
Haha, ok - most Aussies have a great sense of humour too; so I will concede a little and agree that you Aussies take your fun very seriously 😬 😬 so you can be joint pioneers of the creation of the concept and continuance of fun, along with us Brits!!

You said it right at the beginning. In music technical terms this kind of rhythm is called a "cavalcata". Translated from Italian it's exactly a horse ride.
They had loads of upbeat pop and dance tunes. For a pop tune with a super catchy chorus try, ABBA "SOS" live TV performance 1975 (not the official video)
ABBA live is never “live”. All vocals are tweaked and engineered in a studio by Micke Tretow. Agnetha doesn’t sound great live, she has a tendency to be pitchy and out of tune
@@Lisa-M they sang live but the dvd and album released from ABBA live at Wembley the sound was tweaked in the studio by Micke Tretow, so technically isn’t true live

‘They always look so happy’. Just wait until you get deep into the post divorce era.
Gimme gimme is recorder after the divorces, i think.
@@teromattila3657 recorded in 1979, 6/7 months after Björn and Agnetha split. Technically still pre divorce. Benny and Frida divorced 1981
You should check out The Winner Takes it All next. An absolute classic and really showcases Agnetha’s (the blonde) voice.
And money money money that showcases the wonderful Fridas voice along with I have a dream, waterloo, Name of the Game, Fernando, etc. People act like Agnetha was the only singer
Lol. I don't know how you can get a full appreciation for the song with that many pauses. 😂
Hello boy! Aren't they magic? ABBA is a phenon world wide. To me ABBA is the best of all time.
Greetings from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
"It's like I'm on a horse, but I'm on a horse riding in the solar system."
I, too, love it when music puts pictures in my head.

Check out their song The Visitors....no official video but a banger tune !

They had an excellent sound mixer in Michael B Tretow, he deserves a lot of credit.
His album 'Moonbeams' is excellent fun, and features all of the ABBA members.
You've got a long way to go Bubba! It does my heart good to see one more young person enjoying true talent!
I hope you do their whole catalog, not every song is great but some are absolute masterpieces.
THE WINNER TAKES IT ALL next, please 😭❤️ Always my number 1. After that it's like 15 songs at 2nd place. 😂

This is the short version without the great instrumental bridge!

Wow I had no idea 😮 thanks for the info

Great reaction bro! the winner takes it all is a great one by abba as well
If you like this, check out The Weather Girls, two black sistas singing “It’s raining men”. Those ladies can SING!
Why woudl you pause in the middle of Agnetha long note?!
Good reaction! Make Summernight city ❤
watch ABBA live, they were so good, the ladies have incredible voices and were more than sexy. Just great

The longer version is better than this short version.
Interesting that video because that was half of the original song.
Don't cut too much please 🙏🙏🙏
So go out nd buy their music.
It seems like you stopped the video more than usual this time. Maybe too much?
If you love their Music then please don't interrupt so much.
You may be loving their music but I’m hating your pauses. I realize you are required to pause but this is ridiculous.
It's inaudible !!!! You cut each 3 seconds !!! Learn to react dude and go back later.... 🙄🙄🙄
