The singer Chris said in an intervju "The song is about my journey that I did, and about my worst depression that I had a few years ago. It was really bad, says singer Chris Adam Hedman Sörbye". Smash Into Pieces is more well known internationally than they are in Sweden. I have loved them since 2017 so I was very happy that they are competing in Melodifestivalen, they deserve to be more known in Sweden. :D
i have loved SiP since i first heard them live at sticky fingers in gothenburg, sweden many years ago (2012 or 2013?) where they were one of the 2 support bands (SiP and dEMOTIONAL) for another swedish metal group called the unguided (formed by the former sonic syndicate members richard sjunnesson and roger sjunnesson and roland johansson)
I saw them live with starset June of 2022 and they said that tour was the first time back to the US in 3 years. I'm so glad that they had this opportunity and I'm so glad the audio showcases their lyrical prowess because Chris CAN SING! you can really hear his talent and it makes me so happy.

Sucks they didn't win. But third place is solid considering their competition.
