With the advent of the sidestory A Light Spark in Darkness, what Red does to save Susie in the climax is basically the lyrics to this song:
He's the one (that saves Susie), he infiltrated (the tunnels and snuck up on them), the time has come for (the goons) to be downgraded (with violence), he's already won (by distracting them and helping Susie escape) as far as he can see by keeping their eyes on him. He recommends them to keep their distance, as with his skill level, he's untouchable by them, but when that fails, he lights on fire, drawing his blade and igniting it with a burning desire (to protect Susie from the goons and stop their plot to do a violence and blame the Infected), and yes, they couldn't contain him (as they get thrashed by Red) though they tried...
