Hello Chris, I'm a HS Student who enjoys wearing a soft/light and barely-there makeup for school that just freshens up your face. I don't apply base or anything that can't be applied without a mirror. All the products I use are from Sephora! I first use a Sunscreen 30spf then apply a light primer like the NYX Dew me Up Primer or M.A.C Prep+Prime. Depending on my mood, I either use a Brow Gel like Glossier's Boy Brow in Transparent or Black. I'll also apply the RMS Beauty Living Luminizer (a splurge for a student haha) as both a highlight and an eyeshadow. I might put on a bit of MILK's Lip+Cheek and put some Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer and that's it! It works great trust me!

Love it! I’ve been to Japan several times and I could say Japanese drugstores are magnificent! If you go to Japan, I would like to recommend Matsumoto Kiyoshi ♥︎♥︎
I tried yesstyle after you Korean makeup video, it's great. In addition to some of your recommendations I got the innisfree smart drawing blushes, they seem like a good dupe for glossier cloud paint
I’m so happy that you enjoy the canmake cream cheek product, as they’re my favourite too! I would recommend Thai beauty! I’ve tried the lips product from the brand 4u2 and it’s amazing!! The colour range is huge, it’s cheap and most importantly the texture so light and creamy☺️
Absolutely! Fair skin is the market the products were designed for 👍 (but I hope they can increase some shade ranges now that they're sold outside Asia too) x
When you make it to Tokyo, head to Shibuya 109 to shop! Lots of cool clothing/accessories stores, but they have some great beauty brands and a nice Etude House store. I’m still loving the products I bought there! People watching in that neighborhood is also incredible, since it’s so busy. Definitely worth watching the chaos at the Scramble Crossing nearby too - head to the second floor Starbucks across the street for a great view of the street below. Japanese drugstore picks would be Biore UV watery essence sunscreen, and Kate Tokyo liquid eyeliner. The eyeliner lasts forever and has an amazing brush tip that makes creating a little flick so easy! Happy travels ahead and thanks for all of the amazing content!!
It’s funny, I hear so much about K-beauty that it’s nice to hear about J-beauty, which feels more up my alley... I was watching your video on milk makeup and you said that you were in New York over the summer - I was wondering what were your beauty favourites in such a humid environment and maybe some tips for keeping cool clothing wise! Xxx
Thank you Isobel! No real tips unfortunately, I don't use powder which most people would rely on in summer. Just very very minimal creamy makeup and a focus on sunscreen! Light fabrics like cotton and linen help to keep you cool 👍 x
I’ve lived in Japan for a couple of years, it’s an amazing place to visit! One of the best ways to see all the different cities is to start in Tokyo, then take the bullet train south and stop in cool cities like Kyoto, Osaka, Kobe, all the way down to Hiroshima and the southern coast. Then take a train back and stop at any cities you missed, landing back in Tokyo!
Love that this vid includes many blush products I am so fond of too! As a huge blush collector I'd also recommend cle de peau cream blush in 04 (a beautiful subtle nude beige) and powder blush from SUQQU in 01 (coral/peach/orange) and 04 (nude beige)! Japanese blushes are honestly the best lol
we chinese people adore Jbeauty, especially their skincare lines such as three, kanebo, shiro etc. i appreciate their approach to beauty, an even, dewy base with fresh subtle pops of color. it just looks so sophisticated.
I think the biggest differences between the Korean cosmetics / Japanese cosmetics are the texture and color palette. Koreans prefer more like silky, velvety finish and Japanese prefer a dewy, soft finish.
Hi Matilda! I’ve been a silent/outside watcher of your videos for a really long time, and finally realized I should be more present and start liking and subscribing to you! I love cream blushes and your videos are always so helpful. I also love that you put all the focus on the product and how quick and ‘’to the point’’ your videos are. I am curious, what job you have to be able to afford so much makeup, and higher brands? I hope you aren’t offended by the question as it is quite personal, but I am soon going to university and have a slightly unhealthy addiction to makeup and skincare products, so I was just curious :)
Thank you so much for saying hello Sunmi! 😄👋 Really appreciate the feedback. I just work in communications, nothing fancy! Lucky to have a job that supports my passion for luxury beauty and travel, but I save very hard in other areas in order to enjoy those two x
If you ever visit Japan you have to go to a Yojiya store! They are based out of Kyoto but have a few stores around japan. They make my favorite lip balm of all time and are famous for their skincare. You can only buy their products in Japan so its a real treat!
I'm a huge fan of the Shiseido cream blushes, they are so easy to apply. Between that and my Daniel Sandler liquid blush I really don't have much need for any other blush.
Likewise, so many lovely cream blushes in my collection so 'need' is certainly covered, but then there's the 'want' to keep discovering other great options 😂 x
I just picked up that very same CanMake red blush. Also, the Viseé liquid shadows took me by surprise - they are gorgeous. I nabbed three colours: a brown, a pinky nude and a stormy mauve, all shot through with sophisticated shimmer. A couple of the other shades were patchy, but these were winners. Also, the CanMake liquid shadows in a tube are stunners, too. I was very politely handed tissues at the till to clean all of the swatches off my hands and forearms!
I usually don't leave any comments but this time I couldn't help it because I'm Japanese! I'm weirdly proud that you enjoy our products even though I have nothing to do with them lol. I must say THREE's shimmering glow duo is my favorite. It's not as glossy as RMS's highlighter but makes your skin look very healthy and radiant.
The basement floor of the most every department stores in Japan have a fabulous food hall! Highly recommended! Go there in the evening after 6 to discount bento boxes or other snacks. My go to Japanese products that I cannot live with out are the Dolly Wink eyeliners and Ettusais powder brow liner. The Dolly Wink eyeliner is the best eyeliner I’ve ever tried. It’s super pigmented and has incredible staying power. The Ettusais powder brow liner fills in my brow beautifully without looking harsh.
I absolutely love your videos, Matilda! I love your minimal, natural approach to makeup with fun pops of color. You’ve inspired me to experiment with color, which has been really fun and a great confidence boost. Also, I never thought twice about cream blushes before watching your videos, but now I’m slightly obsessed. I love the look. Thank you!
Hi! I'm from japan and super happy that you picked japanese makeup for your video content! Along canmake, chifure and cezanne is really popular for its affordability and quality. I personally love chifure's lipstick 744 (orange-ish brown). For high-end brand, three, addiction (personally love their eyeshadow, range is fantastic, and really pigmented), rmk are brands that you don't want to miss! Also, cosme kitchen is really fun if you want to find Japanese green makeup brands such as Mimc, celvoke (well known for their lipstick no9). And what I really REALLY recommend buying is a mascara called "my lash". You can get this in drugstore and very affordable, about 900 yen. You can get natural but long everyday look lashes with this (maybe close to glossier lashslick??) I don't know how much I've gone through this mascara and I'm recommending it to everyone, and they all love it. I think I wrote too much haha but i hope any of you in comment find this helpful!
I bought Canmake Cream Cheek when visiting Japan and about 9 months later had nearly run out, so had a friend ship 6 compacts of it to me when he visited. It's still my go-to blush. I have colors 15, 5 and 16.
thank you for this lovely video! I know you would hit it off with the Japanese makeup! I particularly enjoy those fashion magazines in Japan because they tend to accentuate natural yet balmy makeup style. If you ever have the chance to go to Japan, remember to hit those pharmacies because they carry a lot of J Beauty products! I recommend you to try this store called Don Quijote because you can find every thing in it! If you enjoy the lip balm from Japan I also recommend a brand called Opera. 😉
Three and suqqu are the darlings of luxury japanese makeup (with a bit of cleau de peau but i think they are more well known for their skincare), i personally like the lipstick shade range of kate (full of those browny neutrals in many undertones). Japanese lipsticks tend to go for those thin tubes hydrating formulas and they have a popular colour/colour group usually called 'milk tea' or milky something which is basically browny neutrals without being too dark, love most of the browny rose shades they have. Good to check the BR (brown), BE (beige) or RD (red) shades since they generally dont have names, just the colour group and numbers. Japanese mascaras and liners are quite famous too, there is a famous liner from mote which is uber thin and im lemming for it but it will take sometime to get through my current stash. If you are going to tokyo, i highly recommend going to their cosme stores! Cosme is like the makeupalley of japan but very active and they regularly give out awards for sales reached, viewer choice, etc so i always look for products with the cosme award stickers. The company behind decided to open a store stocking their top ranked items of each category (probably some rankings are bought but oh well). I visited one of the shibuya outlets and definitely overspent a ton 🙈 but nothing i tried was actually bad, everything was quite good, it basically came down to whether i liked the colour on me or not.
When I saw this video pop up on my feed, I just went “Yesssss!” I was super excited to see your opinion on the shiseido whipped blush and after this video, I have a couple more things added to my purchase list for Japan. Great video as always :)
Filipino here! We have a few local brands here 😁 most items considered "drugstore" in other countries are mid to high end here. I've noticed that the two primary emphasis on Filipino beauty are brows and lips. Growing up most makeup was bought via catalogue, leading brand was avon. Avon was the Mac of the PH 😁
Visee cream blushes are really popular J-beauty products. As for k-beauty, I suggest Peripera cream blushes, Etude House cream blushes, Innisfree cream blushes, Skinfood lip&cheek, and Millimage blush/liptints.
hi! i've subscribed to your channel for a few months now and i love how your reviews are straight to the point while still being aesthetically pleasing to watch! when you've mentioned at the end of this video that you've wanted to try products from the Philippines, my heart was soaring because as a Filipina who loves makeup, we have a couple of local brands that could work well with your brand of minimal makeup with beautiful products. two brands that came to my head that i'd recommend are Sunnies Face and Happy Skin. the former has 4 products (lipstick, stick highlighter, brow pencil+gel, cream blush) that are kinda mid-range pricing here. i'd suggest the lipsticks (Fluffmatte) and cream blush (Airblush) for you, since these products are right up your alley (the lipsticks are matte but multi-purpose). happy skin have cream products as well, but are a bit pricier when compared to sunnies face. they have a lip and cheek mousse, lip and cheek stick, and what i'd really recommend: the multi-use mousse (my mom has 2 shades and she loves them because of its formula and consistency). their lipsticks are also highly raved, especially from women with dry lips. i hope you'll be able to find ways for these brands to get to you ^^ all the best for you, matilda!
Love it!! You should really try Opera Liptint next, I think its right up to your alley. The texture is balmy, slightly glossy but without stickiness to it. Sheer color, but buildable and as the name suggest it leaves beautiful tint 💕 Opera liptint currently on the no.1 ranking of japanese lipstick so you should really check that one, I usually use matte/satin lipstick but ever since trying opera one oh gosh I just don’t use anything else 😂 Also, if by any chance you finally visit japan I would really love to guide you in Osaka💕
Hi Matilda! As an Asian beauty and clean beauty lover myself, I rly wanna recommend u try brands like Etvos, Celvoke, Mimc, and Three. They r all mineral and natural based brands and I feel like u would definitely love a lot of their products💕❤️
I love cream blush so much, Im so thankful I found your channel so i could learn about cream blush and charlotte tilbury. I just got a few weeks ago the ct pillowtalk cream blush in the 2 shades my favorite one is the darkest shade then i saw it was limited edition so i got 2 more. So sad i cant wear them right now, my cheeks are breaking out like crazy since we have to wear mask outside all day where i live :(
When it comes to beauty stores in Japan I recommend Don Quijote (you can find so many J-drugstore brands there) and there are quite a few beauty stores in Shibuya 109! There are so many beautiful and wonderful things to see in Japan but I always recommend to try outdoor hot springs (especially during a starry night) but do keep in mind that if you’re in Tokyo there isn’t a lot of free WiFi as one could expect from such a city with so much technology but Starbucks always has free WiFi so they got your back if it’s needed. I always have to keep that in mind myself when I’m visiting my relatives there.
Got ecstatic when I heard you say Philippines! I'm sure you were talking about Sunnies Face Airblusher, which I think will be right up your alley. Hoping you'd be able to show those on your channel and be able to visit here! ♥️😊
Hi Matilda, I love Cle de Peau blush duo. I have shade 101 and think it's gorgeous! You are the first person who has talked about it. An expensive addition to my makeup bag but I think it's the only blusher I will ever need x
I actually want her to explore more on kbeauty and j beauty , I love all her vids but I've seen this particular vid at least 5 times ! Love the swatches !
Yasss, so glad you liked the balm rouges 💄 I have the elegant dahlia (classic blue-red), poppy, and clematis (pinky nude) shades, and they've been 90% of my lipstick choices so far in the warm season.
I think I may need to get a couple of those balms and that peachy cream canmake blush. That is practically the exact color of my natural flush. Japan is also on my dream travel list and if I play my cards right, I should be there in 2020. Thanks for making me aware of some new products to try Matilda!
Long-time viewer, first-time commenter! As an expat living in Japan for over a decade now, my makeup bag is full of the goodies you covered in this video. If you are into cleansing oils, Shiseido sells the OG. The smell is amazing but it is quite pricey. For shopping, you have to check out a Don Quixote for a dizzying range of cosmetics, snacks, novelty goods, alcohol, gifts... And the ground floor of any major department store like Matsuzukaya or Mitsukoshi will have your luxury cosmetics, which is still worth a check for the outstanding service and Japan-only exclusives.
Not sure where in Japan you'll be going, but two tips are -- order a data sim in advanced (some can be picked up at the airport) as you can't actually buy it when you're there. And, don't be afraid to carry mostly cash on you -- lots of places are still cash reliant, especially if you're gonna commute in public transport.
I guess I am now getting interested in J Beauty. I have started with Cle De Peau which, lol, I thought was a French company and learned that it is from Japan and owned by Shishedo. I used to use Shishedo years ago! You have peeked my interest in trying other J Beauty brands! Thanks :)
Loveee this video! I can't get over the dewy and clean look J beauty products create :) Apart from these babies you mentioned, eyeshadow by excel, Kiss me mascara and eyeliner by KATE are also my holy grail!!
You have no idea how excited I am seeing this on my notification bar because I love Japanese brands and their take on natural looking but with a twist makeup style 😍 I love Canmake's Glow Wink Eyes in the shade 05. The shade is quite peachy pink, I think, and the shimmers are flattering for me. Planning on getting another soon but it's quite expensive here 😂 And also, pink eyeshadow and a red lip? Definitely trying that out soon! xo
Matilda, if you ever get the chance to try other Philippine brands, I'd recommend Colourette (for their unique formula), BLK (for their tinted lip balm and lip scrub), Happy Skin (for their cream blushes, some of their lipsticks and their collaboration with Disney :) ) and maybe even Skin potions (for their lip tints and such) I love your videos, since they're very informative! Much love♥️
I just recently found your channel and quickly became a subscriber. I took inspiration from your more recent videos and bought the Shisheido blush in the same color recently (before I watched this) and I absolutely love it. You have inspired me to find my makeup look that I am now thoroughly enjoying! Thank you and I look forward to your new videos!
Hi Matilda, for more Japanese cream blushes, you could try Rohto Sugao Cheek and Lip cream, it has a supper light texture. For more high end, Addiction's liquid bushes and cream blushes are very popular in Japan
Oh I love the Canmake cream blushes ! I had one sent to me by a lovely Thai girl I met whem I worked at Nars, she's now my friend ! Also Matilda, you need to try some Shu Uemura eye products ! they have great liners and eyelash curlers. Oh and Jill Stuart beauty ! I know she's American, but really influenced by Japanese beauty, both in terms of formula and packaging aesthetic. :) Also, Cle de Peau ? boujeeeeeeee hehe ! you need to try the lipglosses they're so nice !

Yes yes Canmake is a really good brand y’all need to try it
I love 🇯🇵 and its people! 😍 J-beauty is superb, no exaggeration! I also suggest the brands Koh Gen Do and RMK!
Thanks for this, Matilda! 🌞❤
Thank you! Ahh yes I saw RMK in Selfridges last year, loved the look of their products. Next time! 😂 x
I’ve loved the Canmake cream cheek CL01 for YEARS! It’s the perfect natural flush when applied right.
V B Soul sistah! It’s the ONLY makeup product i’ve ever repurchased and gifted to family and friends.
Such a great shade! Glad it has a big following 👏 x
I tried yesstyle after you Korean makeup video, it's great. In addition to some of your recommendations I got the innisfree smart drawing blushes, they seem like a good dupe for glossier cloud paint
Thank you, glad you enjoy YesStyle too! Ooh they sound lovely 👍 x
Thank you for the tip! 👍 x
ahhhhh I'm so proud of you, I have watched you for so long and you got sponsored. ♥
Ohh thank you so much! It’s been really exciting to be approached to work with some great companies this year ☺️👍🏼 x
Same! I was like a proud mama the first time she got sponsored. 😝❤️
What I love about asian makeup is that they have so much soft makeup , wich works so well for me who is porcelain skinned .
Absolutely! Fair skin is the market the products were designed for 👍 (but I hope they can increase some shade ranges now that they're sold outside Asia too) x
I loved the refill blush case thing...so much more environment friendly than regular cosmetics products❤️🙏🙏
So true! I'll be sharing more products with refills in a video soon 👍 x
Loved the video!! Some other J-beauty brands that I suggest are RMK, Opera, Three and Sugao.
Thank you for the tips Lina! 👍 x
As Japanese, I’m so happy that Matilda mentioned J-beauty cosmetics 🥰 🍀
OMG I almost got out of my seat when you swatch those canmake cream cheek blushes! Soooo satisfying I’m shook 😂❤️
Haha aren't they lovely?! 👏 x
Thank you so much for the tips Nina! Can't wait to visit 😄 x
Thank you so much Sasha! Very excited to visit one day 👏 x
Thank you Susan! You'll see Cle de Peau shade 4 pop up in lots of my videos, it's one of my favourites! You know me too well ☺️ x
we chinese people adore Jbeauty, especially their skincare lines such as three, kanebo, shiro etc. i appreciate their approach to beauty, an even, dewy base with fresh subtle pops of color. it just looks so sophisticated.
Very well said! ☺️👏 x
I think the biggest differences between the Korean cosmetics / Japanese cosmetics are the texture and color palette. Koreans prefer more like silky, velvety finish and Japanese prefer a dewy, soft finish.
Hi Matilda!
I’ve been a silent/outside watcher of your videos for a really long time,
and finally realized I should be more present and start liking and subscribing to you!
I love cream blushes and your videos are always so helpful.
I also love that you put all the focus on the product and how quick and ‘’to the point’’ your videos are.
I am curious, what job you have to be able to afford so much makeup, and higher brands?
I hope you aren’t offended by the question as it is quite personal, but I am soon going to university and
have a slightly unhealthy addiction to makeup and skincare products, so I was just curious :)
Thank you so much for saying hello Sunmi! 😄👋 Really appreciate the feedback. I just work in communications, nothing fancy! Lucky to have a job that supports my passion for luxury beauty and travel, but I save very hard in other areas in order to enjoy those two x
I’d really love it if you try out Filipino brands like Happy Skin, Sunnies Face and/or Colourette!
Thank you, they're all already on my list if I can find a way to ship them here! 🇦🇺 x
If you ever visit Japan you have to go to a Yojiya store! They are based out of Kyoto but have a few stores around japan. They make my favorite lip balm of all time and are famous for their skincare. You can only buy their products in Japan so its a real treat!
Ooh sounds amazing! So excited to visit one day 😄✈️ x
I love how the little cream blush and lip color are small hip hop in your bag and take to places like school
Super small and portable! 👍 x
I was looking for this particular video that made me purchase the canmake brown blush. Such an amazing product. Thank you!
canmake cream cheek in #16 is the bomb!! forever fave shade in their collection 💖
Such a lovely formula! 👏 x
Stay in balm rouge is definitely my go-to lipstick for school! Never get caught for using lipsticks! And it makes me look more lively!:)
Such a lovely formula! 👏 x
Thank you for the tips! 👍 x
The Shiseido cream blush is my all time favourite. I also got the colour Setsuko, but want to try others as well.
Glad you like it too! 👍 x
Thank you so much! Appreciate you saying hello, and thanks for the tip! 👍✨ x
Chocolate lily looks so pretty, very simple but I tend to love sheer mid tone brown lip products 🥰
Thank you so much for the tips Madeline! 👍 x
Thank you!
Ohh thank you so much Jamie! So glad you're enjoying playing with makeup ☺️👏 x
Thank you so much for the tips! 👍 x
こういう逆輸入みたいなのは新鮮!
Thank you for watching! 👍 x
I bought Canmake Cream Cheek when visiting Japan and about 9 months later had nearly run out, so had a friend ship 6 compacts of it to me when he visited. It's still my go-to blush. I have colors 15, 5 and 16.
So glad you love it too! 👏
thank you for this lovely video! 😉
Thank you for the tips Haoyue! Hope to visit Japan soon ☺️✈️ x
Thank you so much for the tips! Really appreciate your time 👍 x
When I saw this video pop up on my feed, I just went “Yesssss!”
I was super excited to see your opinion on the shiseido whipped blush and after this video, I have a couple more things added to my purchase list for Japan.
Great video as always :)
Thank you so much! ☺️ Apologies for the late reply x
Hearing a lot about brands from the Philippines! 👍 x
such a satisfaction seeing untouched Canmake cream blush 😍
So fresh! 😄👏 x
Visee cream blushes are really popular J-beauty products. As for k-beauty, I suggest Peripera cream blushes, Etude House cream blushes, Innisfree cream blushes, Skinfood lip&cheek, and Millimage blush/liptints.
Thank you! I've already tried some of those K-Beauty brands in two videos on my channel 👍 x
hi! i've subscribed to your channel for a few months now and i love how your reviews are straight to the point while still being aesthetically pleasing to watch! when you've mentioned at the end of this video that you've wanted to try products from the Philippines, my heart was soaring because as a Filipina who loves makeup, we have a couple of local brands that could work well with your brand of minimal makeup with beautiful products.
two brands that came to my head that i'd recommend are Sunnies Face and Happy Skin. the former has 4 products (lipstick, stick highlighter, brow pencil+gel, cream blush) that are kinda mid-range pricing here. i'd suggest the lipsticks (Fluffmatte) and cream blush (Airblush) for you, since these products are right up your alley (the lipsticks are matte but multi-purpose). happy skin have cream products as well, but are a bit pricier when compared to sunnies face. they have a lip and cheek mousse, lip and cheek stick, and what i'd really recommend: the multi-use mousse (my mom has 2 shades and she loves them because of its formula and consistency). their lipsticks are also highly raved, especially from women with dry lips.
i hope you'll be able to find ways for these brands to get to you ^^ all the best for you, matilda!
Thank you! Those are two of the brands on my wishlist but I don't think I can get them overseas 😿 x
Love it!! You should really try Opera Liptint next, I think its right up to your alley. The texture is balmy, slightly glossy but without stickiness to it. Sheer color, but buildable and as the name suggest it leaves beautiful tint 💕
Opera liptint currently on the no.1 ranking of japanese lipstick so you should really check that one, I usually use matte/satin lipstick but ever since trying opera one oh gosh I just don’t use anything else 😂
Also, if by any chance you finally visit japan I would really love to guide you in Osaka💕
Thank you so much for the tips! ☺️👍 x
Just returned from Japan and picked up a few of the Canmake Balm Rouges. They're like a sheerer version of the Bobbi Brown Crush Lip Colors, love!
Ohh fun, hope you had a great trip! I'd love try more of their shades one day 👍 x
as a fellow cat lover i think you’ll love the Mocha Cat Cafes! so many amazing fuzzy friends to hangout and have coffee w!!!!
Ohh they sound great! 😸 x
omg i tried the sheseido cream blush in store and it feels soooo nice
Such a lovely formula! 👏 x
Absolutely love this matilda 😍. I have always heard about Japanese makeup but never try it before. Def will give it a try 😉
Thank you Siti! 😄 x
I'm actually second I love your vids Matilda thanks so much for posting
Thank you! ☺️ x
Suqqu, decorte, rmk, shu uemura , etvos, to/one, shiro etc. are some of my favorite japanese makeup brands.
Hi Matilda! As an Asian beauty and clean beauty lover myself, I rly wanna recommend u try brands like Etvos, Celvoke, Mimc, and Three. They r all mineral and natural based brands and I feel like u would definitely love a lot of their products💕❤️
Thank you for the tips! 👍 x
WE 👏 LOVE 👏 A 👏 DIVERSE 👏 QUEEN! 👏
💜💜💜
Thank you so much Hera! 😄 (and apologies for the late reply) x
I'd really love to see a video about Scandinavian makeup brands. I saw some really nice makeup in the pharmacies when I went a couple years ago.
Hope to try some in future! 👍 x
Watching your videos is always a pleasure! Quality, consciousness, and a review that actually helps me evaluate the product 😘
Thank you so much! Such wonderful feedback ☺️ x
So sad i cant wear them right now, my cheeks are breaking out like crazy since we have to wear mask outside all day where i live :(
Thank you Noelia! Glad you're a cream blush fan too ☺️ x
Thank you so much for the tips! 👍 x
Got ecstatic when I heard you say Philippines! I'm sure you were talking about Sunnies Face Airblusher, which I think will be right up your alley. Hoping you'd be able to show those on your channel and be able to visit here! ♥️😊
Yes their products seem so interesting! But sadly they don't ship internationally 😔 x
Thank you so much for watching again! 😄 x
CAN MAKE is loved by from teenagers to grown up.
Those are cheap, but good quality.
Looking forward to trying more from them in future! 👍 x
Yasss, so glad you liked the balm rouges 💄 I have the elegant dahlia (classic blue-red), poppy, and clematis (pinky nude) shades, and they've been 90% of my lipstick choices so far in the warm season.
Hope to try more shades in future! They're so nice 👏 x
The Philippines definitely! I'd be happy to recommend some of my favourite local brands here to you!
Thank you! Absolutely, I'd love to hear your favourites 👍 x
i have the canmake stay on balm rouge!! one of the best things i bought in japan besides the stationeries
Ooh I bet their stationery stores are amazing! 👏 x
Canmake ! I love this. I also have canmake cream cheek, eye shadow, lips, mashmallow-face-powder, mascara.
Glad you love their products too! 😄 x
I think I may need to get a couple of those balms and that peachy cream canmake blush. That is practically the exact color of my natural flush. Japan is also on my dream travel list and if I play my cards right, I should be there in 2020. Thanks for making me aware of some new products to try Matilda!
Thank you Xandra! More Canmake swatches coming soon 😉 x
For high-end products, I recommend Three and Naturaglacé
Thank you for the suggestions! 👍 x
Thank you so much Dani! Appreciate your tips ☺️👍 x
Always makes my day whenever you post!!
Ohh so sweet of you, thank you so much! ☺️ x
Thank you for the tips! 👍 No trip booked yet unfortunately but I hope to visit in the next couple of years x
Hakuhodo flagship store was high on my list in general for Japan and it’s in Kyoto which is full of must sees.
Thank you! Kyoto is definitely on my list 👍 x
I love your review because it’s simple and understand easier
Thank you so much! Glad you like this style 😄 x
I guess I am now getting interested in J Beauty. I have started with Cle De Peau which, lol, I thought was a French company and learned that it is from Japan and owned by Shishedo. I used to use Shishedo years ago! You have peeked my interest in trying other J Beauty brands! Thanks :)
Thank you for watching! ☺️ x
Loveee this video! I can't get over the dewy and clean look J beauty products create :) Apart from these babies you mentioned, eyeshadow by excel, Kiss me mascara and eyeliner by KATE are also my holy grail!!
Thank you for the tips! 👍 x
Definitely trying that out soon! xo
Thank you for the product tip! 👍 x
I just love your videos and your voice is super relaxing 😍I think you could post a video about paint drying and I would still find it entertaining.
Ohh thank you so much Allison! 😂🎨 x
Matilda, if you ever get the chance to try other Philippine brands, I'd recommend Colourette (for their unique formula), BLK (for their tinted lip balm and lip scrub), Happy Skin (for their cream blushes, some of their lipsticks and their collaboration with Disney :) ) and maybe even Skin potions (for their lip tints and such)
I love your videos, since they're very informative!
Much love♥️
Thank you! And thanks for the tips 👍 x
Thank you so much Preetika, such lovely feedback! Glad you're enjoying your new look ☺️👏 x
Hi Matilda, for more Japanese cream blushes, you could try Rohto Sugao Cheek and Lip cream, it has a supper light texture. For more high end, Addiction's liquid bushes and cream blushes are very popular in Japan
Thank you for the tips! 👍 x
Also, Cle de Peau ? boujeeeeeeee hehe ! you need to try the lipglosses they're so nice !
Thank you so much for the tips! More Canmake cream blush swatches coming soon 😉 x
I have a question... I’ve been wanting to shop from yesstyle for so long but the reviews keep me thinking .. many say that their things comes very late .. that it takes long time to arrive and I’ve heard some lost their products . This Channel is one of my all time favorite and the fact that these products are bought from yesstyle keeps me want to shop there too. And I don’t know what to do. If anyone has any suggestions I’d appreciate 💕
I've personally had a good experience shopping with YesStyle but I can't speak on behalf of other people. With any online store, there are always going to be some mishaps while other people might get perfect service. If you have any questions, I'm sure you could reach out to their customer service before you order and they might be able to reassure you 👍 x
Matilda thank you for replying to me . I love and appreciate your videos a lot and your response helped me a lot too .💖
Thank you for always making my day whenever you post :))
Ohh Jo, this has made MY day! Thank you ☺️ x
Matilda ofc love x
I found your channel a couple of days ago and I've been watching your videos everyday since then. I love them! 💜
Thank you so much Deepsikha! 😄👋 x
Got giddy when i saw your post!! I love japanese makeup! Try the canmake creamy touch liner and cezanne eyebrows very thin and easy to glide on. There’s a lot to try and do in japan but i do recommend ichiran ramen, standing sushi bars and convenience store products (surprisingly good!) :)) ❤️
Thank you Noreen! Hope to try more Japanese makeup one day 👍 x
