Hey Regina, thanks a ton, I am so glad you like my work - for the words I used 1 skein each of the pink color and the green color - I had a little bit left-over but I would recommend to keep on whole skein handy - each of my skeins were 6oz - do let me know if you have any other questions..❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hi Anjana !!!!! Loved your way of explaining. Size of Your blanket is around 30"×30". But I want to make blanket in 35" width and 40" length. Could you please guide me with how many number of stitches I should start ? TIA Dear
Hey Sandhya, I am so so so glad you like my videos and excited to see your version. The core of the blanket needs certain number of stitches to make the alphabets come out the way it is in my blanket so you wouldn't be able to do much with that but you can make the size bigger by doing this : 1. At the start and end of the blanket (top & bottom) - I did 6 rows of sc in every stitch - you can do 10 rows each at the start and end so that will give you some extra length. 2. In the end I did 7 rows of the border - which I will show in the last part - that added little less than 2" on all sides so this will be your chance to add to the width and you can make it as big/small as you wish. I would recommend to keep the same number of rows on the top and bottom so the mid section looks centered and the border rows would be your opportunity to play around with the size. Hope that helps. I am a littleconfused. We are suppose to have 130 stitches but when you add the green colour it is 25 orange, 79 green and 25 orange that is only 129 stitches. Should it not add up to 130?
Hey hi, when you introduce the green color on row 43 you should have ch1 & turn | 25sc in orange | 79sc in green | 26sc in orange which totally to 130 stitches - hope that makes it clear - let me know if you have any more questions. I’m so glad I found this question!! When I got to 129 I thought I dropped a stitch so I added one and now nothing lines up 😢. Pulling out a few rows lol!
