Awesome work Mike!!
looks very nice
Thank you!
I live in New Jersey I want to check some of your work out in person. You have done some really nice ponds.
Thank you! Where in NJ are you? We have some outdoor public displays that you are very welcome to visit!
I'm in Jackson near Great Adventure. I know its south of you but I have a love for ponds and landscapes I spent a number of years involved in it and every day I miss it. There is such a connection to nature and I find it very fulfilling when you step back and look at the creation.
I agree. Pond keeping is such an interactive and connected way to keep fish and connect with nature. I know a good pond guy right in Jackson, check out NJ Pond Guys!
Where do you get the urns? Aquascape?
Yes the urns are called stacked slate urns made by Aquascape. They have a variety of sizes and styles. Great stuff!
How did you built that?
We built this using the existing concrete basin. We placed EPDM liner inside the basin, then installed aquablocks, a pump housing, and flexible PVC pipe. A submersible pump is used to run the display. Once the aquablocks were installed we created a display with the urns and larger pieces of stone integrated together directly on top of the aquablocks. We used a waterfall foam to seal up the display, added gravel, filled with water and got it going!
