yeah I want 6v6 back too and we are going to get that at some point it is just going to take time and that's the hard part is people say 5v5 is better because it has content but ow1 had that to until they left the game for ow1 and then dropped PVE the day the game came out which was the whole reason to even go to ow2 in the first place. I do have to point out the issue I had more with his video is that he kind of supported bullying another player by calling it "spawn camping" we know there are a lot of Smurf and cheaters in the game so sometimes you'll get high diffed by another player way better then you but to say that spawn camping is a strategy is BS it's not fun and is making one person's experience for not being as good punished for it by a clearly higher skilled player
it is and he keeps saying that he has plans and sounds like trump to me, i got huge plans I got big ideas the best ideas. This is why I watch and listen to both him and freedo because there is a clear line on where they stand and to not take in both sides and make your own thought instead of just listening to the echo chamber that ow has become is depressing. I feel like Samito is far removed and out of touch with the general player base because not everyone is or ever will be at his level and I feel that impacts his ideas more than anything else. it's not the fact he is on top of a higher mountain then us, it's the fact that he can't hear other people's opinions when you're so far above everyone else
Even if he does suggest solutions, I don't think as a player it's your job to offer solutions, only to voice your satisfaction or dissatisfaction. It's your job to play and make content, it's their job to figure out how to make the game good. If the game isn't good it's not on the players not having suggested the right solution...
100% agree and that's why people are jumping ship, we did it when Val and Apex came out and we are doing it again with Marvel Rivals and Deadlock. I love watching the group up podcast and even the devs do to get ideas but isn't that what the devs are paid for? I know they have that position open to help with it and that's good or you could just listen to the community but even the hard-core ones are just giving up and are done with trying to help like Flats

I feel like Samito did a lot for the 6v6 discussion and really bringing that back into light, but the problem these past few months is how radicalized he's been about every other change. He got the devs to talk about 6v6 by talking/acting like this, so logically it makes sense that he's gonna try to do the same song and dance again, but he's putting the carriage way before the horse. Every week there's bound to be a, "Overwatch 2 can't be fixed >:( ", followed up down the line with "Could this ***save*** Overwatch 2?!11!/?/? :DDDDD". He gets so polarized on all of his talking points that he's getting too caught up in his emotions about the problem to really think through a solid solution on most of the problems that he posts videos about, which further hurts his reputation. I think Sam has done a lot good for this community, but it's hard for any of us to feel bad about him being the "martyr" when he put his neck directly beneath the sword so to speak. Bro needs to chill out and write a pros/cons list before making his videos. I like what Sam's done for us as the community, but I don't particularly like the way he structures his redundant content, especially since the devs dropped their 6v6 blog
i agree with this so much right, it always feels like there is some structure both is full of emotions like if youve seen his videos he mentions that the devs talked about how they dont want counter swapping to happen but then started supporting and saying it is an aspect and a part of the game. theres another thing he keeps saying and it slips my mind rn but he kept mentioning about having recipts and that he was going to or keeps saying he is making a video about the things they have said but hasnt gotten around to making it and im curious if he has this proof and keeps saying it why hasnt he made it? its like leading the pig by the carrot at some point the carrot gets old and goes bad or we ate the carrot

Samito is a hater, but I trully think he is just trying to be as loud and manipulative for clicks, before his spike in popularity he talked sense, but since he noticed sense does not make u money he started hating which earned him a lot of views in overwatch's very toxic community. I have a lot of solutions to fix 5v5 but nobody is going to listen to non-streamer especially since I am gold. Like fixing counterpicking is possible, but it requires making a lot of tank, ana and dps reworks. Bad balance doesn't come from 5v5, it comes from poor hero, map and ability design, but it can all be fixed. Like removing every 'fuck u' ability WILL BE already enough to make game a little less annoying
He is loud and it is a strat to be this loud angry person because ppl will click on that to see especially if they agree with their pov. Also I feel like everyone has an opinion that should be listened to regardless of rank, my idea is everything gets changed depending on which rank youre at but that would take a lot of micro managing tbh. Also I agree with you on it not being from bad balance but from poor hero, map, and ability design fr, like yeah removing the imo from bap and kiri would be so good. As a widow main, i hate to say that we need 2 tanks. Even if that means having a dva, winston or rekt sexually harrassing me aside from the main tank with the team.
@ThatKnifeInMyHeart widow was not terrible in 6v6 in fact she was a consistent top 10 pick in the leaderboards for the last 10 seasons even during hard dive metas widow wasn't a throw pick She just has her maps
I agree and I can’t wait to see how they handle it when they bring out that patch in the future since we actually have them making content for the game and updating it and not abandoning it to work on ow2 and it’s pve missions that got scrapped the day it released and still sold us on it
yeah and everyone should have their own maps to play on because it sucks when every map even if it isn't good to play them you would see a character constantly and that's the worst thing about 5v5 is you can't just play a hero you have to counter pick and widow on her maps just like certain people are very good the problem becomes when those that aren't are forced to be with patches, buffs, nerfs, etc.

Staggering is a part of the games strategy and removing it makes punishing bad plays and rewarding good ones non existent.
